Introducing the dynamic husband-wife duo, BOWEN * YOUNG — a powerhouse not to be underestimated. While their name may be fresh to some, Clare Bowen and Brandon Robert Young are no strangers to success in the vibrant landscape of Nashville's music scene.

Individually, they've each carved out impressive careers, but it was their collaboration that unveiled their true purpose.

Together, they're delving into the soul-stirring realm of "Cinematic Americana," where storytelling reigns supreme. With fans hungry for honesty, the two penned Us, their 10-track debut album that displays their raw authenticity and goosebump-provoking harmonies.

The Nashville star, known for her iconic role as Scarlett O'Connor, worked alongside her talented husband, and songwriter-producer Sean McConnell, to curate the highly anticipated project. In an exclusive interview with Fandom Daily, they explained that the LP fell into place naturally.

"It's the best music I've ever made in my life. I'm so proud of it. It just feels right with Brandon right by my side in the spotlight," said Bowen with a beaming smile, "I think we both enjoyed being solo artists. I think that there was a great deal of fulfillment in that, but I know for me personally, I'm a better artist with her than I am without her," added Young.

Their decision to form a duo was solidified during a tumultuous time, including a horrific home invasion and the onset of the pandemic. These challenges underscored the urgency of pursuing their dreams, and that's when they wrote "Dangerous Love," their eye-opening 2022 single.

Bowen's background as an actor infuses their songs with a sense of narrative depth, while Brandon's soulful voice adds a layer of emotional resonance. Together, they create a sound that is both timeless and contemporary, rooted in authenticity and vulnerability.

"Sean and I had come up with the term 'Cinematic Americana.' Maybe because I'm also an actress, but these songs are all true stories. Whether they're terrifying, wonderful, heartwarming, or even funny, they are all things we've lived through," shared Bowen. "I hadn't heard that term before and it just seemed right. The title track 'Us,' we wrote that song in our living room with two of our dear friends and collaborators, Justin Halpin and Clare Dodds. As we were dancing around the idea of the song, it became apparent to us that we needed just to be as honest as we possibly could be."

The writing and recording process for "Us" was a labor of love, spanning over 50 songs before narrowing down to the final tracklist. Each song is a reflection of their personal journey, from the tender ballad "Us," recounting the night that they first sang together, to the poignant "To The Bone."

One standout track, "Gets Late Early,"  delves into the trials and tribulations of the music industry. Bowen recalls the moment she first heard the song, "I heard him playing and said, 'That song is really important. You have to put it on the album." It's a deeply personal song about the highs and lows of being an artist, resonating with audiences worldwide.

Their songwriting approach and personal connection with fans transcend borders, with devoted followers spanning the globe. Whether performing in intimate acoustic settings or commanding stages before thousands, BOWEN * YOUNG fosters a sense of community and belonging.

"It's about creating an environment where someone can escape for even a minute, where they feel seen and heard," stressed Bowen. "We want people to see themselves in our songs, to find solace and inspiration in our music."

As they prepare to release Us to the world, BOWEN * YOUNG is gearing up for two performances across the pond in London. They hope to touch hearts and bring their connection with fans to new heights.

"It's more of a conversation than an actual show. To be vulnerable with your audience gives them the freedom to be vulnerable with you. We can interact and have a conversation instead. We're not trying to be rock stars. We want people to feel like they belong. We want the fans to see themselves and their own stories in our songs," she said. "We're grateful for every moment, every note, and every fan who has joined us on this incredible journey."

With their unwavering authenticity, boundless creativity, and unshakeable bond, they embody the transformative power of music. Us will become available to stream on Friday, May 3. For upcoming show tickets –  listeners can visit their official website, here.
