Buckle up, Bachelor Nation, because Maria Georgas may be our next leading lady.

Although Georgas didn't win over Joey Graziadei's heart in Season 28, the Canadian is not opposed to accepting a rose from ABC. Since her dramatic and shocking exit, fans have expressed interest in seeing her love story unfold.

The 29-year-old recently (March 12) caught up with E! News and shared her thoughts on the possible opportunity.

"I'm in awe of it. I always wanted to be on the show, but not once did I ever think I could get the opportunity to be the Bachelorette," explained Georgas. "It's amazing that people think that I can do that. So, I'm just appreciative of that. And it makes me happy."

After a heartfelt hometown date that aired on Monday, March 4, Georgas didn't receive a rose, signaling the end of her journey on the hit dating show. Despite the jaw-dropping drama, Georgas told the outlet she would consider going through the experience again as a contestant on The Bachelor

"Maybe the second time, I'd do it better. And I would get my head in the game. Well, actually, I'd get out of my head," she said. "That's probably what I would do better for the next time."

Georgas did not hesitate to take ownership of her actions. She confessed that several moments made her cringe while watching the season back.

"There's sometimes I watch back, and I'm like, 'Oh, Maria, don't grab him to talk to him at the Rose Ceremony. What are you thinking?'" she recalled. "But when you're in it, you kind of just got to do what you've got to do."

While many contestants embark on the journey with a calculated plan or alternative motives, Georgas explained that she didn't have one. In fact, she was living in each moment and hoped for the best.

"I wish I had one. My mouth has a mind of its own. And I just speak my mind," said the unapologetic reality star. "It's not something I planned to do. I was just like, let me go in there and be myself and roll with the punches. And that's what I did."

Georgas' path on the show wasn't without its challenges. She found herself entangled in drama with fellow contestants Madina Alam and Sydney Gordon, leading to a pivotal two-on-one date where Sydney was sent home. Another contestant, Lea Cayanan, also expressed concern about Georgas to Joey, which contributed to the dynamics leading up to Georgas exit.

While reflecting on the in-mansion drama, she continued to hold her ground. Her stance on the issue reflects her self-worth and overall character.

"People who were fighting me and trying to come for my character, I just couldn't stand for," she stressed to the publication. "I wish that we were able to come to common ground in the moment. I wish I was able to make that happen. But I don't think there was anything I could have done to change things."

Georgas positive and resilient spirit has left a lasting impression on fans, many of whom have taken to social media to voice their support for her to become the next Bachelorette.

"It's okay, Maria going home means that she'll be at the women tell all and she'll become bachelorette – it's all part of the plan #TheBachelor," wrote a fan on X. "I'm sorry but Maria is the easiest Bachelorette choice in the history of the franchise," said another.

Fan Of View: Fans fear that Maria's open dialogue with the media about her potential to lead the next season might inadvertently jeopardize her chances. This concern stems from the franchise's history of valuing surprise and secrecy in its selection process for lead roles. Adding to the intrigue, Reality Steve, the oracle ofBachelor Nation spoilers and insights, has cast a shadow of doubt by hinting that Daisy Kent, another fan-favorite from the season, could be in the running for the coveted Bachelorette spot. This revelation has fueled speculation and debate within the community.

"I think the show is very well aware that they're deciding between Maria and Daisy," Reality Steve shared on his podcast. "I do not think that they have made a decision yet… You've basically got a 50-50 shot of being right, because it's going to be one of these two women."
