Niko Moon took fans on a much-needed mini vacation over the weekend (Sept. 20) when he headlined Nashville's Ryman Auditorium. Before the happy-go-lucky artist appeared before his sold-out crowd, fast-rising star Sophia Scott kicked off the night by bringing electrifying energy to the legendary venue.

The highly anticipated stop is part of his These Are The Days Tour, and Fandom Daily had the opportunity to go behind the scenes to capture the unforgettable evening. The show coincided with his birthday, turning the night into a full-fledged celebration. From the very start, we had a "GOOD TIME," indulging in delectable sweet treats at his birthday bash and catching up with Moon before he took the stage.

After celebrating another trip around the sun, we asked the chart-topping artist what he was most grateful for. Without hesitation, he replied: his fans.

"I'm here at the Ryman about to play my very first sold-out show here, and it's my birthday," Moon told Fandom Daily, with a beaming smile on his face. "So, I have a lot to be grateful for. Most importantly, I am grateful for all of your love. Thank you to the community we have here and for positive country music," he added, referring to his devoted fandom.

Fans eagerly settled into the church-like pews as the lights began to dim. Excitement filled the historic hall as they buzzed about Scott's Ryman debut, eagerly anticipating the milestone event that was about to unfold.

Her powerhouse vocals and commanding stage presence captivated the audience, drawing their attention. While sporting a striking black two-piece suit and undeniable confidence, she reflected on the numerous obstacles she had overcome to reach this moment in her career. She shared how these roadblocks inspired several of her songs, allowing fans to feel her gut-wrenching pain while experiencing a sense of joy fueled by her perseverance.

Scott solidified her country music status with tracks "Wildflowers" to "Buy a Round" and proved she would become a regular at The Ryman. After an unforgettable performance by Scott, the Texas native burst onto the stage barefoot, evoking sheer joy from the audience. His playful energy and warm demeanor created an immediate connection with his fans – making the moment truly special.

If Moon's presence wasn't enough, his vocals took the (birthday) cake. His smooth tone and relaxed melodies made us all feel like we needed a drink. With Moon's skilled songwriting, tongue-in-cheek lyrics, and catchy melodies, it's no wonder he has cuts with Zac Brown BandHARDY, Morgan Wallen, and Dirks Bentley

Moon expressed how humbling it was to sell out such a prestigious venue for country music, especially considering he launched his solo career just in 2019. He went on to highlight that the proceeds from the evening's show contributed to a donation of $22,000 to Mission 22, a nonprofit dedicated to assisting veterans in their recovery after returning from war.

“Mission 22 is doing incredible work, offering free, long-term programs that focus on healing and growth for veterans dealing with post-traumatic stress, brain injuries and other challenges,” said Moon. “It’s an honor to support their mission and help those who have given so much to our country.”

Moon poured his heart into the evening, delivering uplifting words of motivation that resonated with the audience. He reminded us to savor the present, emphasizing that “THESE ARE THE DAYS” we must cherish and fully appreciate. His setlist showcased a blend of his own chart-toppers, like "EASY TONIGHT” and “GOOD TIME,” alongside beloved favorites, including “Homegrown” by Zac Brown Band and "AIN'T NO BETTER PLACE."

His genuine nature and down-to-earth personality makes it feel like he’s your best friend. A standout moment in his set was his cover of "FISHIN' IN THE DARK" by the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, which transported us from the beach to the lake in an instant.

It’s clear that this country barefoot beach boy is making waves in the music scene. As Moon concluded his set, he expressed heartfelt gratitude to his fans and supporters who have been instrumental in his journey.

He shared, “We’re here to celebrate my birthday, but we’re also celebrating so much more... we’re celebrating music and community.”
