Dorit Kemsley of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills recently spoke out about her split from husband Paul "PK" Kemsley. The couple announced their separation after nine years of marriage late last week, April 9. The reality star addressed fans before rumors began to swirl and fan theories ran rampant. 

The interaction unfolded on Kemsley's Instagram post, where she disclosed the news of their separation. A devoted Bravoholic commented, expressing surprise as they thought the couple was stronger than ever. 

"Wait, I thought y'all were stronger than ever? 🤔" wrote the follower. "We were. S–t happens. It's called life – try it sometime. One day at a time," Kemsley fired back.

This exchange comes after Kemsley spoke about her marriage at the RHOBH reunion. While in the hot seat, she proclaimed her relationship with PK was "doing better than ever" after he stopped drinking. 

"That was a very pivotal moment, so things are – knock on wood – as good as they can possibly be," she uttered about her husband, 56. The reunion was filmed in January. 

Fans were not surprised that their marriage was a topic of conversation during the highly anticipated reunion, as she vocalized her doubts about PK throughout the season, declaring, "No matter how hard I try, It feels like he's never gonna take me seriously and be as present as I need him to be when I need him, and maybe he'll never change, but do I have to accept that he won't? Can I? I don't know." 

The couple announced their split in a joint social media statement, citing ongoing struggles in their marriage. Despite the separation, Dorit was spotted still wearing her wedding ring and allegedly dining with PK on the same day they made the announcement – making Bravoholics question their future together. 

A close source allegedly told Radar Online that they are not contemplating divorce but "taking time and space" to work on themselves and their marriage moving forward. The two tied the knot in 2015 and share two children – son Jagger, 10, and daughter Phoenix, 8.

The source deemed the couple's separation "sad," but it is seen as a step towards prioritizing their children's well-being. Allegedly, they are "committed to keeping things peaceful and harmonious."
