Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber are officially parents. The A-list couple announced (Aug. 24) the birth of their first child, and Beliebers are shocked by their name choice. 

The "Peaches" singer and Rhode Beauty founder welcomed a baby boy named Jack Blues Bieber. Justin confirmed the joyous news on Instagram alongside a precious photo. 

"WELCOME HOME," he wrote, "JACK BLUES BIEBER 🐻." 

Hailey echoed the celebration by reposting Justin's photo to her Instagram Story, adding a blue heart emoji.

Their name caught the fans' attention and carried a special meaning for the couple. "Jack" is a heartfelt nod to Justin's father, Jeremy Jack Bieber, keeping the "JB" initials alive in the family. Justin's half-siblings, Jazmyn (16) and Jaxon (14), who Jeremy shares with his ex, Erin Wagner, also have the "JB" initials. So, Jack Blues Bieber is now the latest addition to the "JB" club.

Justin's relationship with his father has been a subject of interest over the years. While growing up, Justin primarily lived under the care of his mother, Pattie Mallette. In a past interview with Billboard, the singer opened up about his father's absence early on. 

"He was immature. He left for, like, a year when I was about 4. Went to British Columbia, came back on Father's Day," he told the outlet back in 2015. "I remember my mom said, 'If you're going to be here, you have to be here.'" 

Despite early challenges, the two mended their relationship, with Justin clarifying, "There's a misconception that he's this deadbeat dad, but he has been in my life since. I was with him on weekends and Wednesdays."

The name choice has sparked conversation among fans, with many appreciating the down-to-earth and meaningful choice. While some expected a more unique or religious name, given the couple's strong faith, others were touched by the simplicity and familial connection.

"Justin & Hailey Bieber announce the birth of their new baby with the most normal name ever," wrote a fan. "I saw so much talk online that it was going to be a baby girl named Plum Bieber, but clearly, the TikTok sleuths were SO wrong. This name is much cuter anyways," added another. 

There was even speculation about twins after Hailey's father, Stephen Baldwin, shared maternity photos of the couple. Justin's mother commented, "Congratulations Grandpa! WE ARE GONNA HAVE THE CUTEST GRAND-BABIES EVER!" 

The kind-hearted comment quickly had fans buzzing on the internet – forcing Mallette to shut down the rumors. 

"No not twins lol I wish," she wrote on social media. "I just mean in general. Hopefully they will have more than one eventually. They will make beautiful babies whenever they have them. One is enough for now,"

Justin and Hailey, who have been married since 2018, recently renewed their vows earlier this year before announcing that they were expecting their first child. The couple has kept other details of Jack's birth private, and Hailey has yet to make her own official announcement post, opting instead to share Justin's photo on her Instagram Story.

As the world waits for more updates from the new parents, one thing is clear — Jack Blues Bieber is already surrounded by love and support as he begins his journey in the spotlight.
