"This is Nowhere" - The Black Keys

Immerse yourself in the sonic landscape of "This Is Nowhere," a meticulously crafted yet groovy, loose, and Black-Keys-esque midtempo track. Rich with luminous melodies and polished sonic textures, the sound harkens to older records from the duo, giving us all some seriously overdue fan service. Co-written by The Keys and Beck, the track resonates with Beck's unmistakable influence, notably evident in Dan Auerbach's skillful vocal delivery of fast-paced, poignant lyrics.

eternal sunshine - Ariana Grande

Navigating the threshold of her third decade, Grande delves into the intricate tapestry of eternal love with a discernment that transcends the simplicity of her earlier work. With lead single "yes, and?" being a smash hit, we are not surprised by the apparent level-up in sonic maturity, vocal skill, and even lyricism as Grande dives in deep on this LP.

"Woman" - Mickey Guyton

On International Women's Day, country singer Guyton brings us a new female empowerment anthem, "Woman." The single is stunning, with a beautiful and empowering melody you'll sing along to every single time. She stated, "I loved the idea of writing a song that celebrates the power women have. Throughout history and even today, women have taken pain, setbacks, and doubt, and they turn that into inner strength, and they persevere to achieve incredible things. Releasing this on International Women's Day seemed only fitting. We're miracle workers, y'all!”

"Dylan Shades" - Aaron Lee Tasjan

Nashville's Aaron Lee Tasjan is back with another cutting-edge release, the new single "Dylan Shades" from forthcoming LP Stellar Evolution. Between consistently poetic yet poignant lyrics and unique playfulness within production, Tasjan is a force in all genres, something you rarely find in artists today. The new single is no exception to this but it has a bit of a longing twist. Tasjan shares about the single, "I found myself having to admit how deeply in love I am, and then, how scared to lose that I can feel at times. I tried to imagine accepting the loss with a softness and nobility." The lyrics reflect this, sentimentally professing, "The mystery of you captured my heart / behind your Dylan shades / is something beautiful and dark," luring us into the love story. Oscillating synths and a solid vocal performance from Tasjan only strengthen the track.

"Talk To Me That Way" - The Foxies

Following their debut LP Who Are You Now, Who Were You Then? in 2023 and a tour with Billy IdolThe Foxies are dropping incredible new tracks, including the single "Talk To Me That Way." In an interview with SPIN, front-woman Julia Bullock spills the inspiration behind the single, “It’s about dating in your late 20s and feeling so exhausted by hearing the same thing,” Bullock says. “People don’t want to commit, people just want to fuck. I’m tired of that shit.” With lyrics, "I love it when you talk to me that way / you're lying through your teeth to see my place," Bullock, Jake Ohlbaum, and Nick Anderson bring relatable lyricism to the forefront while keeping the trio's signature "glitter punk" sound intact, making the track an instant standout in the new era of The Foxies. The band, comprised of Bullock, Ohlbaum, and drummer Rob Bodley have made a lasting impact on Nashville's alternative music scene.

"Can I Get An Amen" - Michael James

To follow up the release of his fastly rising single “Road I Wanna Ride,” Michael James has released an inspiring new single, “Can I Get An Amen." Written by Michael James alongside Aaron Armstrong and Cole Phillips and produced by Lukas Bracewell, this upbeat country Christian anthem is a simple reminder that no matter how hard the times, there's always a reason to be thankful. With smooth vocal delivery and an uplifting message, the single is a repeat listen.

"Goddess" - Laufey

Jazz-pop artist Laufey is back with a new single, and she's turning in a slightly new direction. Sonically, the single is similar to her previous releases, but the lyrics are so sentimental yet melancholy and warm that we can't help but fall in love with Laufey all over again. In an interview, she shares about the single, “Goddess is my most honest song yet. I wrote it alone at my piano after feeling like someone had fallen in love with the version of me they’d seen on stage, just to find that I wasn’t what they projected once I was off stage. They deemed me to no longer be a shiny thing when the glamour wore off, reduced to skin and bone," she explains of the new single.

"Craving California" - Mark Robert Cash

As he prepares to release his debut EP, "Craving California" is the first musical offering from the full-length project. Cash has performed at Nashville Pride, Country Pride (The Nash News & The 615 Collective), Pride 615, and others. "Craving California" weaves traditional country with a pop twist, exploring the twists of love and the lingering ache of unanswered questions. Cash's emotional journey unfolds between overthinking and wild emotions, capturing the essence of craving the past. With clean production and Cash's stunning vocal on the lead single, his debut EP is bound to be incredible.

"Ny sweater" - meet me out front

New rising Nasville band meet me out front releases debut track "Ny sweater." Lead singer Mark Demao shares about the project, "“Ny sweater' came from a literal notes app list of all the positives in my life, everything that I needed to get through a tough time. I was really inspired by several Nashville writers who were so vulnerable and bare with their writing and it really made me want to share it all as well. It ended up feeling so cathartic." With polished production from Alexander Johnson of Drive!Drive! and confident songwriting abilities from Demao and the rest of the band, they're soon to be a Music City pop-rock staple.

"My Love" - Lauren Freebird

Rising Nashville twang rocker Lauren Freebird is soaring to new heights in new single "My Love." With lyrics, “Don’t need money, no ocean views / Don’t need no Crypto, don’t need no booze / Take a picture, make it last / There’s always future, there is no past / Split the sky at the speed of light / I’ll crawl to you, make your dreams come true / Hold on tight, watch the sunrise / Look in my eyes we rule the night / All that you want is my love / All that you need is my love,” Freebird captivates audiences with ideals of a fiery romance.
