Fandom Daily: It's been 12 years since your last full-length album. What inspired you to return to the studio and create Coffee & Beer after such a long hiatus?

Uncle Kracker: "For me, I’ve always wanted to put out music that made people feel optimistic and helped them see that better days are coming. I think in a time where so many of us are feeling like we’re living in a world of nonsense, it’s important to find things  that give us a sense of hope. Coffee & Beer was a project that I felt I was able to do for both myself and my fans. The time felt right. We could all use a little joy these days. And a little coffee & beer, of course."

Fandom Daily: You’ve always been known for breaking down genre walls with your unique blend. How did you approach this fusion in Coffee & Beer, and are there any tracks showcasing this mix?

Uncle Kracker: "Totally! That’s always been my goal: for the listener to be able to find a little bit of everything they like in my music. This album I wanted to intertwine Country, Pop,  and Rock, and I think we did a pretty great job of that."

Fandom Daily: You mentioned wanting to give your fans a "soundtrack to summer." How do you think this album captures the essence of summer, and what do you hope listeners will take away from it?

Uncle Kracker: "Absolutely. And I think we did capture that 100%. To me, summer is all about relaxing and feeling good. Warm weather, good vibes. I wanted to make an album that transported you to that feeling and made you feel like you took a load off and got to just sit back, relax, and enjoy some good tunes."

Fandom Daily: Reflecting on your career and this latest release, what do you feel has been the most rewarding part of your musical journey so far?

Uncle Kracker: "Man, I honestly just think the fans. I’ve always been grateful for the experience and I do really give that to my fans. They’ve been with me since the beginnings  and stuck by me. To get to make music for them, and for just one person to feel a  weight lifted off their shoulder and a little joy from this album, and all my past  ones too, is the goal."

Fandom Daily: With Coffee & Beer now released, what’s next for you? Are there any upcoming tours,  projects, or plans you’re excited to share with your fans?

Uncle Kracker: "I just wrapped touring with Kenny Chesney for his SUN GOES DOWN TOUR this summer, and now I’m hitting some festivals and other venues on my own across the country. It’s been awesome to see fans’ reactions to some of the new songs  I’ve added to my set!"
