Internship Tracks:

Writer and Reporter Intern:  FD Writers will have the opportunity to pick their favorite fandom – TV, Movies, Music, Gaming, and Sports. 

Responsibilities: 

• Digital-savvy writers/ reporters must write 4-5 articles per day. 

• Interview opportunities | feature writing. 

• Strong writing, editing, and brainstorming skills

• Understanding SEO best practices and the willingness to learn/implement the latest evergreen strategies. 

• Strong attention to detail and grammar. 

• Will be able to work independently at times and on deadlines. 

• Are required to be available certain evenings and weekends for award shows + breaking news. 

• Cover entertainment events in interns' surrounding area.

Requirement: Must be enrolled in a relevant degree program or a recent graduate in Journalism, Broadcast Journalism, Creative Writing, Digital Media and Storytelling, or a related field. 

Social Media Intern: We are seeking a dynamic and creative social media intern to join the FD team. The ideal candidate is a passionate and innovative student with a strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and engagement strategies. 

• Assist in the creation and scheduling of social media content across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, etc. 

• Monitor social media channels for trends, conversations, and engagement opportunities.

• Build a solid following, engage with followers, respond to comments, and interact with the FD online community promptly and authentically. 

• Has a strong understanding of Canva or should be willing to learn the design platform. 

• Participate in brainstorming sessions for social media campaigns, promotions, and contests.

Digital Sales Internship: FD is on a mission to find an enthusiastic and motivated sales intern. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain practical experience in sales, build their professional network, and contribute to our company’s growth. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong communication skills. 

Responsibilities: 

• Assist the sales team in prospecting and identifying potential clients, advertisers, or customers through research and outreach. 

• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential growth opportunities. 

• Participate in sales meetings, presentations, and pitches. 

• Learn about the features and benefits of our products and Fandom Daily Marketplace. 

• Support the preparation and execution of sales events, pre-concert events, conferences, and more.
