Abby Lee Miller hasn’t ruled out a comeback to the Dancing With the Stars judges’ table and fans couldn’t be more thrilled. Speaking exclusively to Us Weekly at Dancers Against Cancer’s 2025 Gala of the Stars on October 21, the former Dance Moms star, 60, revealed she would “absolutely” return if given the chance.

"They wanted me to do the show," Miller told the outlet. "Three years [in a row] they asked me, and my contract with the other network didn’t allow it, so I did a guest spot because I was only allowed to be on another network every 13 episodes of my show. It was very constrictive, unfortunately. So there you go.”

Miller served as a guest judge on DWTS in 2014, sharing the panel with Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba, and Bruno Tonioli. Her honest critiques left an impression on celebrities like Meryl Davis, Amy Purdy, Candace Cameron Bure, and James Maslow.

Reflecting on her time judging, Miller said, “When I judged, it was right when they brought lyric and contemporary [dances] in, and so Deena Katz, the producer, wanted somebody [where] that was their field, their ballpark, and it’s still happening. So I think I should be [back]. Deena, if you’re listening.”

Miller also weighed in on scoring this season, explaining, “It’s just a number on a piece of paper. If they’re having trouble with one of the celebrities and one of the big-time judges giving a low score, tell her to up the score with the house difference. It doesn’t matter as long as you have your winner.”

Fans are equally vocal about wanting Miller back. Social media buzz has shown widespread frustration with Carrie Ann Inaba’s scoring and comments this season, and many are hoping ABC will shake things up next season.

“Abby Lee’s brutal, no-nonsense critiques are exactly what DWTS needs,” one fan said on TikTok. “We need someone who actually knows dance, not just a personality judge. Carrie Ann should be worried!”

Beyond her DWTS aspirations, Miller used the gala to give back, donating $10,000 to Dancers Against Cancer, a nonprofit that provides financial assistance and emotional support to dancers affected by cancer.

Miller, a Burkitt lymphoma survivor, said, "I’m giving back a check of $10,000 that they gave me many years ago. I guess I should have given them interest on that. I have to check."

Dancing With the Stars airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and Disney+.
