Aiden Ross Crowned Champion of ‘The Voice’ And Niall Horan Makes History

Fans of ‘The Voice’ believe Aiden Ross has a bright future in the music industry, and are already itching to hear new tracks and see him perform live!

In a finale that had viewers on the edge of their seats, Aiden Ross emerged as the champion of The Voice’s 28th season. 

The Texas native delivered  a stunning performance that solidified both his talent and his mentor Niall Horan’s place in the show’s history. This victory is particularly monumental as Horan became the first coach ever to win his first three seasons – a feat that fans are celebrating across social media. 

The grand finale showcased Ross’ remarkable vocal prowess through powerful performances, including the heartfelt "Golden Hour" by JVKE and the iconic "The Winner Takes It All" by ABBA.In a touching moment, Ross also teamed up with Gina Miles, the winner of Season 23, to sing "Last Christmas," creating a nostalgic atmosphere that resonated with fans. 


The competition was fierce, with Ross facing off against Snoop Dogg’s contestant Ralph Edwards, but his heartfelt delivery ultimately won over the audience and the judges. Following the finale, Ross turned to Instagram to share his appreciation for his growing fandom, viewers, and coach Horan. 

“I’m at a loss for words. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! I am filled with so much joy and gratitude. I’ve had the time of my life performing for you all this season, and I am beyond honored to be the Season 28 winner of The Voice,” he wrote. “I’ve grown so much as an individual and an artist, met some of my best friends, and learned from the very best in the industry.Thank you for following my journey… this is just the beginning💙Thank you for believing in me @niallhoran WE DID IT #teamniall for life🙌🏼” 

Fans were not surprised by the outcome, but they still made waves online – sparking conversation around Ross’ future and  the high-energy finale. 


“I knew you could do it can't wait to support you throughout your whole musical career 🥹,” said a devoted fan. “So so proud and happy for you Aiden. You are amazing!!! ❤️🔥,” added Kirbi, another member of Team Niall and top 16 contestant. 

Horan also had no doubt that Ross would bring home the big win, as he was rooting for him the entire season. During an exclusive interview with People, the One Direction star praised the singer-songwriter for his hard work and dedication throughout filming. 

“Aiden speaks about how much he loves this show all the time, how he’s watched this since he was a kid,” explained the "Night Changes" singer. “So for him, I really, really, really wanted it.” 

Ross emerged as a standout star during the blind auditions and instantly became a fan-favorite. He delivered a jaw-dropping performance of Adele's "Love in the Dark." The judges – Horan, Snoop Dogg, Michael Bublé, and Reba McEntire – were left in awe, with Ross achieving the very first four-chair turn of the season. 


Following his breathtaking audition, Niall lauded Ross's ability to transform Adele's hit into something uniquely his own, declaring, “When you hit some of those bigger notes, you hit them with ease. I’ve worked with similar voices to yours and had some success on the show previously. If you don’t pick me, I wish I could turn this chair around and never turn it again.” 

Now armed with a record deal from Universal Music Group and a substantial cash prize, fans are eagerly anticipating what’s next for this talented young artist. With the support of his dedicated fan base and the exceptional guidance of Horan, Ross is poised to take the music world by storm.
