The Harries are in full frenzy after photos published by The Sun showed Zoë Kravitz, 37, wearing a massive rock on her left hand while kissing boyfriend Harry Styles, 32, in London. The images sent fans scrambling across social media, with excitement, skepticism and plenty of hot takes. 

The couple was first linked in August 2025 in Rome and have been spotted together in New York since. A close source told PEOPLE that the two "have great chemistry," enjoy a relaxed life of strolls and friend meetups, and have been trying to align busy schedules around Styles’s upcoming Together, Together residency in support of his new album.  Representatives for neither party have commented on the ring.

From the fandom perspective, reactions split fast. Many Harries are hopeful, treating the ring as a sign of an engagement and compiling timelines of public outings, family meetups and sweet moments.

"It feels like everything’s pointing to this," read one fan thread that catalogued the couple’s appearances. Others urged caution. "too soon," some said, and turned to sleuthing instead of celebration.

That sleuthing produced a credible alternative. Several fans identified the engagement ring as a Jessica McCormack piece, pointing to a past Instagram post in which Kravitz wore what appears to be the same ring. That detail prompted a second wave of logic-driven replies suggesting the ring could be a statement accessory, rather than a proposal.

Practical context matters, too. Sources told PEOPLE Kravitz may join Styles on parts of his residency starting in May, which would create more public appearances, and more opportunities for ring sightings.

The pair’s recent relationship histories are also part of the conversation. Kravitz called off an engagement to Channing Tatum in 2024, and Styles’s last reported relationship with Taylor Russell ended in 2024.

No official confirmation has been issued, but for now The Harries are doing what they always do – watching closely, debating loudly, and celebrating every tantalizing clue. Whether this turns out to be an engagement or a stylish coincidence, the fandom’s reaction is already part of the story.
