Ariana Grande Stuns at the Golden Globes with a Glamorous Red Carpet Look, Big Nominations for 'Wicked,' and a Sneak Peek at New Music from Her Acclaimed Album, 'Eternal Sunshine.'
Arianators, rejoice! Ariana Grande is kicking off 2025 with a high note – literally and figuratively. From a show-stopping red carpet moment to teasing new music, the Wicked star proved once again why she’s the queen of multitasking.
At the 82nd Golden Globe Awards, Grande's honey-brown locks made their red carpet debut, signaling a return to her pre - Wicked glam. The internet immediately erupted, with fans praising her nostalgic look. But her hair wasn’t the only thing turning heads.
Wicked the highly anticipated film adaptation of the Broadway classic, secured four Golden Globe nominations for Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy and Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy: Cynthia Erivo. Grande’s portrayal of Glinda the Good Witch earned her rave reviews and a nod for Best Supporting Actress. Though she didn’t snag the win – losing to Zoe Saldaña – her fans crowned her the MVP of the night on social media. The buzz-worthy film didn't secure multiple accolades, however, Wicked did bring home Cinematic and Box Office Achievement award.
Grande wasn’t just there for the awards – she dropped a bombshell about her music plans. When asked by Access Hollywood about releasing new music, she teased, “It’s not something I’m thinking about right now. But, you know, there’s something I made last year that will come out eventually. It’s an attachment of Eternal Sunshine. So, that does exist, and that will be coming out at some point.”
The superstar didn't reveal a release date, but she certainly set social media on fire.

“‘Eventually’ in Ariana’s language means like 4 years (or 7 years because she loves 7’s)," wrote a fan on TikTok. "GIVE IT TO ME NOWWWWW," stressed a listener. "This isn't confirmed deluxe it could be music video," added another.
Although Grande has not dished additonal details, fans are already speculating about a March 8, 2025 release date – marking the first anniversary of Eternal Sunshine.
Grande's seventh studio album, Eternal Sunshine, dropped March 8th, 2024 and instantly became a fan favorite. Inspired by the film Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, the album explored themes of love, memory, and heartbreak. Hits like “Yes, And?” and “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)” topped charts and became instant classics.
She didn’t stop there. The Slightly Deluxe edition featured collaborations with Mariah Carey and Troye Sivan. Clearly, Grande knows how to keep her devoded fandom fed.
With Wicked earning 11 Critics’ Choice nominations, including Best Supporting Actress for Grande, it’s clear she’s making her mark in Hollywood. Rumors are even swirling about potential Oscar recognition.
“Acting has been such a rewarding experience,” she shared. “I’d love to explore more roles like this.”
Whether it’s a new movie, a deluxe album, or a surprise single, Grande is keeping us on our toes. And if her Golden Globes night is any indication, 2025 is shaping up to be another grande year for the pop icon.
