Travis Kelce just gave us Swifties the tiny, glorious breadcrumb we’ve been craving.
On the May 6 episode of New Heights, after guest Rory McIlroy gushed about wedding magic, Kelce flashed his trademark grin and said, "I can’t wait" about marrying Taylor Swift.
It was a short but loaded line that sent the fandom into a frenzy on social media.
The A-list couple has deliberately kept their plans private, and their inner circle is maintaining that discretion. Kylie Kelce dismissed repeated questions on her Not Gonna Lie podcast, bluntly setting the record straight about their wedding.
"To literally everybody, I know it usually comes from a good place, not always, but quit asking me and my mother-in-law about upcoming nuptials," stressed Kylie. "Nobody’s f—king telling you anything. I don’t have any details."
For fans, the silence fuels rather than frustrates the imagination.
Taylor’s own remarks suggest the wedding will be intimate, intentional, and focused on music. The hitmaker previously told U.K.’s Heart Breakfast that she never pictured herself as a bride until meeting Travis.
"You would think that I had been that type of person who would have obsessed over the idea of a wedding my whole life," Taylor pointed out. "But I actually never thought about what I would ever do or what I would want, until I met the person."
Both she and Kelce have hinted they favor live performance. Kelce called them "live music kind of people," and Taylor even joked that Ed Sheeran would inevitably find his way onto a stage if present.
"It’s like, 'Ed, if there’s a stage, you know that you’ll be on it,'" she told the publication. "He knows what people want, and he wants to give people what they want."
Regarding the wedding's cuisine, this information is still unknown. However, Travis revealed (May 6) that he’s experimenting with his palate, thanks to Taylor.
"Yeah, I'm trying to act like more of a man when I’m around her. Eating foods I haven’t tried before," said the Kansas City Chiefs tight end. "My girl Tay is getting you opened up. She’s introducing new foods to you," added Jason Kelce.
As the wedding day approaches, superfans are getting curious and keeping their eyes peeled for more Easter eggs. Although Travis did not say much about the upcoming affair, fans are thrilled to have gotten something from the couple.
