Billie Eilish and Finneas are making their voices heard. The brother-sister duo turned to social media earlier this week to announce who they are voting for in the 2024 presidential election. 

In honor of National Voter Registration Day, the Grammy-winning siblings shared their endorsement of Kamala Harris and Tim Walz. Eilish and Finneas, known for their influence on millions of young fans, shared a video on Instagram urging their followers to register to vote and cast their ballots early. 

"It's National Voter Registration Day, and we're asking you to please join us in going to iwillvote.com to check your status and vote early like we do," Finneas said alongside Eilish in the heartfelt video. The pair emphasized their support for Harris and Walz, citing their stance on key issues aligning with their values.

"We are voting for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz because they are fighting to protect our reproductive freedom, our planet, and our democracy," Eilish said, reinforcing the duo's commitment to progressive causes. 

They also expressed deep concerns over what they described as extremist threats facing the nation.

"We can't let extremists control our lives, our freedoms, and our future. The only way to stop them and the dangerous Project 2025 agenda is to vote and elect Kamala Harris," Finneas added, referencing Project 2025, a conservative plan with broad policy changes. Eilish followed up with a stark warning to their followers: "Vote like your life depends on it because it does."

The two concluded the video by encouraging their audience to visit "iwillvote.com" to confirm their voter registration status. Eilish added, "Love you guys," before the video ended, sending a personal and heartfelt message to her devoted fanbase.

Fans flocked to the comments to express their enthusiasm. 

"I will do whatever these gods ask of me," wrote a fan. "Always so sensible, intelligent, and supportive of causes!" added another. 

Eilish's political involvement is not new. She has been an outspoken critic of Donald Trump and his policies since her early voting days. In 2020, she was one of the youngest performers at the Democratic National Convention, where she advocated for Joe Biden and called out the dangers she believed Trump posed to the country.

Since then, Eilish has met with President Biden at the White House in 2022, further solidifying her political stance.

The endorsement of Harris and Walz by the siblings adds to a growing wave of celebrity support for the Democratic ticket. Just moments after Kamala Harris and Donald Trump engaged in their first presidential debate, pop superstar Taylor Swift also announced her endorsement of Harris and Walz, further elevating the visibility of the campaign.

This high-profile endorsement underscores the importance of the youth vote in the 2024 election, with Eilish and Finneas using their platform to rally their massive fanbase to engage in the democratic process and ensure their voices are heard at the polls.
