The Legends, Kelsea Ballerini's devoted fandom, has been buzzing after the hitmaker's latest stop in Boston. The country songstress brought her high-demand Patterns tour to the TD Garden (Feb. 13) before hitting Mohegan Sun Arena on Valentine's Day. 

Instead of hitting the road directly after her show, Ballerini and her heartthrob boyfriend, Chase Stokes, made a surprise appearance at The Greatest Bar, a New England hotspot. The two were spotted dancing, singing, and raising a glass or two with fans. 

As the CMA-winning artist and Outer Banks star soaked up the lively atmosphere at the packed dive bar, sharp-eyed fans couldn't help but notice matching rings on their fingers – sparking speculation that they might be wedding bands.

A superfan, known as sammysamslife, turned to social media to address the fan-fueled rumors.

"Nobody panic, but I think Chase Stokes and Kelsea Ballerini are secretly married," explained the TikTok user. "After watching this video of the two of them celebrating Valentine's Day in Boston…I am freaking out over here." 

She went on to dissect Ballerini's entire trip to Boston, highlighting her thoughtful gesture of spending time with fans after her show—calling it a "truly iconic move." She then shared the suspicious clip, urging viewers to pay close attention, particularly to their hands.

In the viral video, the pair dance to her chart-topping hit "Blindsided," a song inspired by her divorce from country artist Morgan Evans. As the clip comes to a close, Stokes subtly points, revealing a platinum band on his left ring finger.

The Legends wasted no time jumping into the comments to address the fan-driven rumor. Many shut down the speculation, clarifying that the two had exchanged "promise rings."

"It's a promise ring, they've both had them for awhile," wrote a viewer. The comment racked in 136 likes. "Nope there not," said another. "I went back and looked, and he has a ring on that finger in a lot of his pictures…. I don't think they are married." 

Although the power couple has yet to confirm or deny the rumors, one thing is clear – the possibility of marriage isn't entirely off the table. Ahead of her album release in late October, the "This Time Last Year" singer told E! News that she sees a future with the award-winning actor. 

"I would never say never to anything," declared Ballerini. "Anything that I've said a hard no to in my life, I have come back and challenged myself on," added the 31-year-old. 

Ballerini previously went through a high-profile divorce from Morgan Evans. They were married from 2017 to 2022. 

Following their split, she dropped Rolling Up the Welcome Mat, a six-song EP that portrays her heartbreaking divorce. It features fan favorites – "Penthouse," "How Do I Do This," "Just Married," and "Mountain With A View." 

Her outlook on marriage has changed dramatically since her breakup. She broke her silence on Call Her Daddy, where she candidly set the record straight on her marriage to Evans.

"I just wanted everyone to have a nice time. I didn't wanna have a wedding," said Ballerini. "Cause I didn't, I think, at the end of the day, really wanna get married. I did, in that moment. But I think fundamentally, from the trauma I had as a kid, I didn't. And then I think I told myself that I did."

Fans are thrilled that Ballerini has found someone she envisions a bright and healthy future with. While the rings may symbolize a "promise" for now, they're hopeful that one day the couple will make it official.
