Artist Name: Kelsea Ballerini

Kelsea Ballerini gained prominence in mid-2010. The country-pop singer-songwriter is best known for her authenticity, up-tempo anthems, and relatable storytelling. The Tennessee native recieved positive praise upon the release of her debut single “Love Me Like You Mean It.” After dominating country radio and becoming the first female to peak at No.1 since Carrie Underwood in 2006, Ballerini dropped her critically acclaimed first studio album, The First Time. The powerhouse went on to release Unapologetically in 2017, a well-rounded collection that displays her personal growth and details her self-discovery journey. She went on to share Kelsea and counterpart record, Ballerini. In 2019, Little Big Town invited Ballerini to become a member of the Grand Ole Opry and was inducted by Underwood on April 16, 2019. Ballerini became the youngest inductee in Opry history.  Most recently, the vocalist released her fourth studio album, Subject to Change in late 2022 and six-song EP, Rolling Up the Welcome Mat. Her smash single “Heartfirst” scored a nomination for Best Country Solo Performance at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards.

Kelsea Ballerini’s Fandom: Ballerini’s fans often refer to themselves as “The Legends.” Not only has her music cultivated a devoted fan base, but her active presence on social media has strengthened her tight-knit community. The  singer interacts with fans on Twitter, TikTok, and Instagram by sharing behind-the-scenes moments, personal updates. unreleased music, and in the comments. Ballerini launched Legends Fan Club, a one-stop destination for everything Kelsea Ballerini. Ballerinis are required to choose from three tiers – “Club Legend,” “Legends,” and “Newsletter.” Each yearly membership includes different perks.

Family Background: Ballerini was raised in Knoxville, Tennessee, as an only child. She attended Central High School in Knoxville and Centennial High School in Franklin. She later enrolled in Lipscomb University, but dropped out after two years to pursue a full-time music career. 

Spouses/  Partners: Kelsea Ballerini was previously married to Morgan Evans, a country musician from Australia. Evans popped the question in 2016 and the two tied the knot seaside in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. In late August of 2022, the couple announced their divorce. Shortly after the settlement, the hitmaker confirmed her relationship with Outer Banks star Chase Stokes. Her chart-topping EP, Rolling Up the Welcome Mat, was inspired by the public split. In the summer of 2023, Ballerini extended the vulnerable tracklist featuring a full-length interlude and brand new track, “How Do I Do This.”

Charitable or Philanthropic Activities: According to Looktothestars.org, Ballerini has contributed to over a dozen charities. Autism Movement Therapy, City of Hope, Elton John AIDS Foundation, Entertainment Industry Foundation, Born This Way Foundation, Feeding America, Got Your 6, March of Dimes, Musicians on Call, National Park Foundation, PETA, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and Toys for Toots. 

Kelsea Ballerini has also started her own organization – The Feel Your Way Through Charitable Fund. The foundation’s mission is to raise money for nonprofits focused on mental health. Ballerini sparks the necessary conversation in her enlightening poetry book, Feel Your Way Through. All proceeds made fro 2021– 2022, have supported The Trevor Project, Porter’s Call, and The Loveland Foundation.
