Fandom Daily: Congratulations on your release "All Backroads," how does it feel to have the track finally out for your fans to hear?

Just Jayne: "We've been waiting for so long – 339 days! We posted a teaser of the song almost a year ago, and now it's finally here. We've teased it so many times! The first time was April 16, to be exact. We actually wrote it on April 8 last year. One of our fans, following us from the beginning, counted the exact number of days she's been waiting for it. We were like, 'Oh my gosh, that's dedication!'

It feels so good. It feels like spring and summer all at once! We wrote this song around this time last year, and it always felt like a summer song. We wanted to release it last year, but the timing wasn't quite right. Now, it's perfect. Timing really is everything."

Fandom Daily: This song gives Kelsea Ballerini and Shania Twain energy. While writing, do you tap into any musical inspirations? Who has inspired your sound?

Just Jayne: "That is such a compliment! Thank you! Our sound is really a blend of all our different influences. Before forming Just Jayne, we were all doing solo music, and bringing those styles together was so much fun. For this song specifically, we wrote it on the day of a solar eclipse last year. We were hyped up on caffeine, our producer had a bowl of Australian lollipops, and we were just dancing around the studio. That energy bled into the music, and we hope our fans can feel that when they listen."

FD: The song is about returning to that one boy in your hometown. Many fans will find this very relatable. Can you tell me the inspiration behind the track?

JJ: "There are actually three different storylines! That was our rule of thumb – if all three of us could relate to a song in our own way, then we knew other people would, too. That's something we keep in mind for future songs as well. If it's a universal experience for us, we know it'll resonate with our listeners.

Absolutely! Even though it's unique to each person, it's still familiar. And let's talk about that Rite Aid parking lot reference! We all have that one parking lot where we used to meet up with our high school boyfriends. When we play this song live, we tell the crowd, 'If you have that one guy you always went back to when you visited your hometown, raise a glass! And then block him… or text him, depending on your vibe.'"

FD: Are you ladies nervous about the people in your past hearing this song?

JJ: "Honestly, I'm flattered! I'm not nervous at all. If anything, I think it's funny. You know, we joke that we all have our own "parking lot" memories from high school. We all have that one spot! It's all in good fun. And we really hope people can laugh and reminisce when they hear it."

FD: You have such a strong connection with your fans. It feels like you're building a sisterhood. Tell me about the community you've created?

JJ: "We really just want everyone to feel like they're part of a big group of friends. We want people to see our real personalities and feel like they're hanging out with us. We're definitely girls' girls – our manager is a woman, our A&R is a woman – it's a whole girl-powered team. We're even celebrating tonight with a 'Yappy Hour' dinner."

FD: I can already see this song being shared in group chats! I'm sure your fans will totally relate. Speaking of your fans, you have such a loyal following. How would you describe the community you've built?

JJ: "Honestly, it's like a big group of friends. We want our fans to feel like they're hanging out with us, just having fun and being real. Our personalities shine through in everything we do. We're just regular girls who love to laugh and share good times. We're a family, and that's something we cherish. We want everyone to feel like they're part of the journey with us. It's not just about the music but the connection we share with our fans."

FD: Country music needs more girl groups like you! You have legends like The Chicks, The Judds, and newer acts like Maddie & Tae and Chapel Hart. How do you plan to stand out?

JJ: "We've actually been on the road with Maddie & Tae! We did a few shows with them in the fall, and we stayed side-stage the whole time, just soaking up everything we could learn. One thing that sets us apart is that we're a pop-country girl group, and we incorporate a little bit of dancing, too. We joke that we're like the Spice Girls meets country music. It's been a minute since we've had a girl group like that, so we're ready to bring it back!"

FD: Now that you're hitting the road again with Maddie & Tae, how have you grown since your last tour?

JJ: "That first run with them was our introduction to touring, and we learned so much. Now, we feel more prepared – we know what songs work best live, we've perfected our setlist, and we've worked out all the technical kinks. We're even doing some fun cover mashups! This time, we're going in with a clear vision, and we are so excited."

FD: Do you have some fun surprises in store for your upcoming shows?

JJ: "Yes! We're working on some mashups and covers that we're so excited about. We've also become so much more comfortable on stage, and we're really honing in on what works for us. It's going to be a blast!"

FD: You're truly all about that "good vibes" mentality. So, what's next for Just Jayne?

JJ: "We're just getting started! More music, more tours, and definitely more surprises for our fans. We've got so much in the works, and we can't wait to share it all. Stay tuned because we're only just beginning!"
