Joe Jonas is setting the record straight after a viral TikTok video had fans speculating about his behavior onstage.

The clip, which showed the 36-year-old “Work It Out” singer fidgeting with his nose during a recent Jonas Brothers concert, quickly spiraled into a frenzy of drug rumors. However, Jonas isn’t having it.

In a recently released interview with Esquire published Oct. 21, Jonas firmly shut down the speculation, saying, “I’ve never touched cocaine in my life.”

He even poked fun at the absurdity of the claims, adding, “If I did, I think I’d be a little slicker about it than doing it onstage.”

The viral video first started making the rounds in September, sparking wild theories across social media. But Jonas' quick-witted humor made it clear he wasn’t taking the rumors too seriously. Under the original TikTok, he commented, “lol you never had a booger?”

The casual comment instantly became a fan favorite and reminder of his unbothered energy.

Longtime fans were quick to jump to his defense, pointing out that the Jonas Brothers have maintained squeaky-clean reputations since their Disney Channel days.

“The Jonas Brothers have always been the definition of grounded,” one fan wrote on TikTok. “People are just desperate to create drama where there is none.” Another fan chimed in, accusing users of “stirring the pot just for views.”

For many, the idea of Jonas being caught up in a drug scandal feels hard to believe, especially considering his track record. While he’s admitted in the past to trying marijuana as a teen with fellow Disney stars Demi Lovato and Miley Cyrus, Jonas has been open about steering clear of hard substances.

"The first time I smoked weed was with Demi and Miley. I must have been 17 or 18," he wrote in an essay published by New York magazine in 2013. "They kept saying, 'Try it! Try it! So I gave it a shot, and it was all right. I don't even smoke weed that often anynmore," he added.

Now, with the rumors officially put to rest, fans are praising Jonas for handling the situation with humor and honesty. As one fan summed it up perfectly, “Joe’s always been real...people just love to twist a moment into a headline.”
