Coldplay jumbotron scandal sparks Kristin Cabot’s divorce drama.
Kristin Cabot, the woman seen cuddling with former Astronomer CEO Andy Byron on the jumbotron at Coldplay's Boston concert in July, has filed for divorce, according to court documents obtained by NBC News.
The 52-year-old filed a petition for divorce in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, on August 13. The next hearing is scheduled for November 26 in the family division of New Hampshire's 10th Circuit Court.
The viral moment occurred during Coldplay's performance at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, on July 15. Fans in the crowd were spotlighted on the jumbotron, and Cabot and Byron were shown in each other's arms. Byron quickly ran out of frame while Cabot covered her face and turned her back to the camera.
Coldplay frontman Chris Martin joked, "Either they're having an affair or they're just really shy," and added, "Oh s--t! I hope we didn't do something bad."

The incident led to significant professional consequences. Cabot resigned from her position as head of human resources at Astronomer shortly after the concert.
Byron also resigned as CEO, with the company's board citing his failure to meet the company's standards of conduct. Pete DeJoy, cofounder and chief product officer, is serving as interim CEO.
