Harry Styles kicked off his much anticipated tour this past weekend in Amsterdam, making a return to the stage after two years away. Fans flooded the Johan Cruijff Arena on Saturday (May 16), eager to see what performance would be put on, a first for Styles since his 2023 Love On Tour. 

But for some of those fans, they didn’t get to see much at all. The stage design for this tour is large, with one main stage to the back and large walkways extending out essentially dividing the pit into 4 parts, which were labeled as "Disco" and "Kiss."

The main issue comes from the walkways, which are currently quite high and feature bridges on either side. This has resulted in an obstructed view for many fans on the barricades, with some only being able to see one side of the stage (which becomes an issue when you utilize the stage as well as Harry does). 

In a statement published to instagram stories yesterday (May 20), HSHQ (Styles’ media team) said that they were "actively working on making adjustments to improve visibility." In that same statement, they also confirmed that they would be adjusting the bridges for the upcoming Amsterdam and London dates. They are now working quickly to make adjustments for future venues.

However, some were not pleased with the stage updates, and have taken this bad design planning as an opportunity to call Harry "greedy." The fandom even shamed him online for his expensive ticket prices. One of the future venues includes 30 nights at Madison Square Garden, an infamous location for Harry Styles, where we will have to wait and see what the pit will look like.

Even through all of the split opinions, we are still excited to see what this tour will look like in it's three-month run in New York!
