Summer House fans, it seems like the drama between Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula is heating up once again.

After the highly anticipated teaser for Season 10 dropped (Dec. 8), Cooke found himself in hot water as Batula accused him of crashing at a fan’s apartment after a night out.

In an exclusive conversation with PEOPLE, Cooke firmly denied the claims.

"There’s no excuse for staying out as late as I did, but I want to be clear that I did not sleep at a fan’s apartment," Cooke, 43, told the publication. "I was at an event that Amanda chose not to attend, which moved to a bar and then to an after-party."

Cooke admitted he fell asleep on a couch and didn’t realize how late it had gotten, waking to find it was almost 6 a.m.

"I don’t use anything to keep myself wired, so I think I ended up falling asleep on a couch, and suddenly it was almost 6 a.m.," he clarified. "Do I regret the situation? Absolutely. But that’s the truth and full extent of what happened."

Batula, 34, has been vocal about her concerns regarding her husband's choices. In the teaser, she has a heart-to-heart conversation with fellow Summer House stars Ciara Miller and Linsday Hubbard about her husband's most recent and questionable decisions.

"I wanted him to stop going out and partying, and he found a career where he goes out late and parties," she explained. When Batula told her co-stars about the most recent slumber party at a fan's apartment, it caught Millar off guard.

“That’s F—--Insane,” she replied, ensuring that Batula’s feelings are beyond valid.

Cooke, on the other hand, seems to feel unsupported by his wife. In the sneak peek, he expresses his feelings of disconnect, stating, "I played the biggest gig of my life, and Amanda couldn’t care less. I don’t know what matters to her anymore."

This reveals a deeper complexity in their relationship, suggesting that it’s not just about partying, but also about feeling validated and understood by each other. Towards the end of the teaser, Cooke rambles off reasons why he believes they are hitting a rough patch.

"Compatibility, chemistry, and intimacy," he points out.

The question on everyone’s minds is whether it's time for Cooke to step up and be the committed husband he once promised to be. Fans are starting to feel fed up with his late-night antics.

One fan commented on Instagram, "Did he really choose a career that revolves around partying? That doesn’t excuse ignoring his wife's requests." Another fan said, "They’ve been unhealthy for quite some time now. Maybe separation is what they need to grow as individuals."

Many Bravoholics are echoing this sentiment, suggesting that perhaps it would be best for both to take a step back and focus on their own paths. As Season 10 of Summer House premieres on February 3, expectations are high for how this emotional storyline will unfold.
