Love Is Blind contestant Jeramey Lutinski has found himself in hot water after his ex-fiancée has come forward about their recent relationship.

Lutinski fell in love with fellow castmate Laura Dadisman in the pods, and ended up popping the question. The two pride themselves on being transparent with one another, but it seems like Lutinski forgot to mention his former lover – Brittani Mcliverty

Mcliverty turned to Dadisman's Instagram late Thursday evening (Feb.22) to claim that Lutinski ended their engagement in 2022 in order to go on the wildly popular Netflix series. Mcliverty insinuated that Lutinski had not disclosed his recent engagement and living situation before participating in Love Is Blind

"Did he ever tell you about his ex-fiancé from right before you? Surely not…," Mcliverty commented under her show promotion photo. "Or the house WE sold a week or two before he filmed for this show?"

Mcliverty also mentioned another participant, Sarah Ann, implying they both should be aware of these past circumstances and offered to provide proof of her claims.

"[I] just want all the info out there. You and Sarah Ann should know," she wrote. "I'm happy to share proof."

It wasn't long after Mcliverty's mother, Jenni Gelven Daniel, rallied behind her, confirming the allegations and adding to the controversy. Daniel voiced her concerns on Facebook and included a photo of the two for evidence. The picture showcases Lutinski holding Daniel's grandson next to Mcliverty.

"Someone was engaged and living with someone when applying for this," wrote the supportive mother.

Lutinski, 32, has not directly responded to the allegations. However, he addressed other criticism he received from viewers.

"Ok, got it. Enough," he wrote on Instagram. "The amount of hate myself and other cast mates have received is over the top. We all had the courage to put ourselves in the public eye to watch an experiment unfold. For you it's entertainment, for us it was apart of life at an accelerated pace."

He defended his co-stars and claimed that the fans don't know all the details of their relationships. He highlighted the intensity and authenticity of the Love Is Blind experience and touched upon the challenges they have all faced throughout filming.

"Unfortunately for the world, filming 8-10 hours a day isn't enough. Next time, we'll recommend having cameras attached 24/7. We'll make sure everyone is perfect at every moment and nothing but blunted boring moments happen," he said. "While everyone is entitled to their opinions, it's fucking wild to make assumptions about everyone without 1) knowing us 20 being involved in any way 3) not being a part of the other THOUSANDS of hours of footage that's captured. Everyone will get their chance to speak when the time is right. Until then, we all get it," he added.

The drama unfolds as fans eagerly await the release of the final episodes of Love Is Blind Season 6, with Lutinski caught in a love triangle that has already sparked significant online debate. This controversy adds another layer to the reality series, blurring the lines between the personal histories of its participants and their televised narratives. As the saga continues, both fans and critics are keenly watching to see how these allegations will affect the perception of Lutinski and the overall dynamic of Love Is Blind.

Following the drama, a new fan theory about Lutinski and his love life emerged. Fans don't think Lutinski "forgot" to mention his past engagement by accident. Nope, it may have been a sneaky move to stir up some major drama and get himself some extra spotlight. Think about it – reality TV thrives on this kind of juicy controversy, right?

The theory even goes a bit deeper, hinting that maybe the show's producers were in on this little secret or at least turned a blind eye because, let's face it, drama equals higher ratings and more chatter online. And Lutinski? His defense about the whole situation, talking about the "authenticity" and how tough the show is, feels like he's trying to switch the focus off his past deeds and more onto the so-called reality TV struggle.
