Love Is Blind Season 6 is like a roller coaster of ignoring red flags, and let me tell you, both sides of these relationships are waving those flags like they're trying to land a plane in a storm. This season is off to a crazy start, with whirlwind romances, low blows, and plenty of tears.

Some villains show their true colors from the get-go, like Matthew, the so-called wealth planner who seems to have a copy-pasted script for wooing women and then blames it all on America's love for underdogs. According to Instagram, the cast weren’t big fans either.

Others are more subtle, like the smooth-talking Clay, whose commitment issues peek through the cracks slowly.

Flight attendant Chelsea's battling her own demons of self-doubt, while Jimmy expects his partners to be mind-readers.

And then there's Jeramey, who starts off as a knight in shining armor before turning into a castle-sized buzzkill. However, we do love his #girlpower vibes:

The Love Is Blind recipe remains unchanged: Many hopeful singles agree to date in "pods," get engaged without seeing each other, jet off to a tropical honeymoon, and then face the ultimate decision at the altar. Each season of Love Is Blind brings its own flavor, and this one's no different. Some seasons give us heartwarming love stories to root for, while others are like watching a drama with popcorn in hand. Season 6? It's leaning heavily toward the drama side. Thanks for the drama, though — it's the glue holding this universe together.

Five couples make it to the Dominican Republic this season for their honeymoon.

Chelsea and Jimmy's dynamic is as fascinating as a reality show twist. Jimmy's caught in a love quadrangle, torn between Chelsea and a single mother named Jess, while Chelsea's chosen Jimmy over others. But there's tension in the air, and not the kind you get before a showdown. Chelsea craves constant validation, and Jimmy's struggling to be the partner she needs. Plus, he's got a knack for saying the wrong thing at the wrong time. Relationship therapy might be in order here.

Mackenzie and Laura's honeymoon vibes are a bit off from the start, even After breaking up with Sarah Ann (“I do have feelings for you… but I’m forced to make a decision,” he says to her), Jeramey proposes to his true flame, Laura. “Sarah is amazing, but Laura is my forever person,” he says. “I genuinely think she and I have a better connection than anybody I’ve ever met.” Laura enthusiastically accepts, as the two lay eyes on each other for the first time and head off on their honeymoon together. “I would love to marry you,” she responds. “You were it for me from day 1.”

Chelsea's thirst for validation clashes with Jimmy's inability to provide it, and his comment about another contestant's physique definitely didn't help. These two need some guidance, stat.

A.D. and Clay's journey is as rocky as a first flight. Clay's got some ego issues to iron out, and A.D.'s on a mission to figure it out. Here's hoping they can work through their differences. However, their proposal was sweet, with Tudum saying, “AD and Clay decide to take the next step together and get engaged. ‘You just saw past my bullshit, and you believed in me,’ Clay says before proposing.”

Many fans' reactions to Clay have been mixed, as seen on X:

However, A.D. doesn’t seem to mind a challenge, as seen on the show's Instagram:

Jeramey and Laura seem like they're in for a rocky road. Laura's annoyed by Jeramey's lack of humor appreciation, and his tendency to storm out of parties isn't doing him any favors. Will these two find common ground, or is this love story doomed from the start?

Johnny and Amy might just have the strength to make it through. They've had some deep conversations and seem genuinely dedicated to each other. But with less screen time than the others, their fate remains a mystery. According to Netflix’s Tudum, “During a pod date in Episode 2, Johnny accidentally tells Amy he loves her, propelling their relationship to the next level. Thankfully, the feelings are mutual, as the two confess that they’re each other’s best friends. ‘My reason for being here was to find you,’ he tells her. Sparks immediately fly upon the big reveal, with Johnny saying Amy is ‘more beautiful than [he] ever would have imagined,’ while Amy is enamored with his blue eyes. Despite exclusively being attracted to who she describes as “ethnic guys” in her past, Amy couldn’t be more secure in her choice, as they set out on their honeymoon adventure with the other couples. “It wouldn’t have mattered what he looked like,” she says. “I truly fell in love with his heart and soul.’”

And then there's Brittany and Kenneth, the duo fighting against prejudice and societal norms. Their shared values are strong, but can they weather the storm of real-life challenges? Only time will tell. Brittany easily accepts his proposal, sharing, “Being chosen by Ken has been a wonderful feeling. I have felt wanted and needed and heard. I really believe that God has put Ken on the other side of the pod for me. (Tudum).” Fans are loving the pairing:

Love Is Blind Season 6 may not be as chaotic as some previous seasons, but the groundwork for disasters is all there. Chelsea's feeling uncomfortable, Jimmy's putting his foot in his mouth, and A.D.'s trying to figure it out. It's a saga in the making, and we're just along for the ride. Who will emerge victorious in this battle of love? Stay tuned.
