Meghan Trainor found herself in the middle of a whirlwind after Ashley Tisdale wrote an essay for The Cut, where she talked about feeling excluded from a mom group that includes Trainor, Hilary Duff, and Mandy Moore. Fans are jumping in to defend Trainor, insisting that she’s not part of any "toxic" situation.

In a recent TikTok video,  Trainor couldn’t have kept it cooler. With a playful tone, she said, "Me still trying to convince everyone I’m not involved in the mom group drama," and added, "I swear I’m innocent 🙏."

It was a light-hearted response, and her fans absolutely loved it.

But not everyone is thrilled about Trainor’s decision to keep talking about it. Some fans are questioning why she’s involved at all. One TikTok user pointed out, "Apparently, the drama is between Ashley and Hilary, and the other moms were supposed to take sides. Then why keep making videos? If I didn’t do something, I wouldn’t give it light."

It’s a fair point that has sparked some interesting debates among followers.

"It feels so high school but juicy at the same time," another fan chimed in. They explained that this whole situation is relatable. Everyone has probably faced some kind of friendship drama where loyalties are tested. That’s why a lot of people find themselves siding with Tisdale, they see a bit of their own experiences reflected in her story.

When Tisdale shared how she felt "not cool enough" to hang out with the group, a lot of fans felt for her. It makes you think about the highs and lows of friendships and the challenges that come with them.

Interestingly, while Trainor and Tisdale still follow each other on social media, Duff has unfollowed Tisdale, which makes this whole saga even more curious. Tisdale’s publicist claimed her comments referred to a different mom group altogether, which just adds more layers to the drama.

Daryl Sabara, Trainor’s  husband and the SPY Kids alum recently spoke with TMZ, claiming that there’s no beef between his wife and Tisdale.

"No drama over here, just trying to keep the kids happy, you know?" he told the publication. "I don’t really know what’s going on. I hope [Tisdale French] is okay, though."

In the end,Trainor’s fans are not here for any negativity directed at her. Whether she decides to keep engaging with the situation or steps back entirely, her followers are ready to support her.
