Netflix Drops Season 5 Teaser for 'Emily in Paris'

Netflix just dropped the first teaser for 'Emily in Paris' Season 5 and this time, Emily’s trading croissants for cappuccinos in Rome.

Netflix has officially teased Emily in Paris Season 5, giving fans a first look at Emily’s next adventure –this time in the heart of Rome.

The newly released teaser trailer and photos hint at romance, heartbreak, and the glamorous chaos that fans have come to expect from the hit series.

The clip opens with Emily (Lily Collins) reunited with her new Italian beau Marcello (Eugenio Franceschini). A sultry voiceover sets the scene: “We start on a beautiful woman… She’s joined by a man. It’s clear they know each other, unable to keep their hands off each other, eventually sharing a kiss.”


Fans are treated to glimpses of Emily’s boss Sylvie Grateau (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu) and best friend Mindy Chen (Ashley Park), along with stylish montages of parties, dance numbers, and Emily exploring her new Roman surroundings.

Mindy even quips, “Rome looks so good on you,” to which Emily replies, “Right?”

Notably absent from the teaser are Lucas Bravo’s Chef Gabriel and Lucien Laviscount’s Alfie, though both are confirmed to return this season. Emily’s coworkers Luc (Bruno Gouery) and Julien (Samuel Arnold) make a brief appearance at the end, joking, “If we’re all in Rome, who’s in Paris?”

Season 5 picks up with Emily taking the reins as head of Agence Grateau Rome, navigating both professional and personal challenges. According to the official synopsis, a promising work idea backfires, leading to heartbreak and career setbacks. Meanwhile, a “big secret” threatens one of Emily’s closest relationships, forcing her to confront conflict with honesty and emerge with renewed clarity and stronger connections.


Returning cast members include William Abadie (Antoine Lambert), Eugenio Franceschini (Marcello), Thalia Besson (Genevieve), Paul Forman (Nico), and Arnaud Binard (Laurent G). Season 5 also introduces newcomers Minnie Driver (Princess Jane), Bryan Greenberg (Jake), and Michèle Laroque (Yvette). The series is created, written, and executive produced by Darren Star, withCollins serving as both lead and producer.

Fans have been chatting on social media since the teaser dropped, speculating about potential love triangles, career drama, and Emily’s future in Rome versus Paris. Many are excited to see the glamorous Italian scenery paired with the fashion, romance, and over-the-top adventures that the show is known for.
