Every Friday feels like a reset button for music fans — a chance to discover what’s next, revisit old favorites, and add something new to the rotation.

This week is no exception: pop stars are reinventing themselves, country’s next generation is stepping up, and indie innovators are keeping things unpredictable. Here’s everything worth hearing from today’s drop!

“Here All Night” – Demi Lovato

Demi Lovato is back in full force with “Here All Night,” a dance-pop anthem built for flashing lights and late nights. After teasing the single in a viral Instagram clip, she’s delivered a fiery follow-up to August’s “Fast.” With pounding beats, sultry vocals, and bold energy, Demi’s new track signals her confident return to pop after her recent rock-driven era.

Play – Ed Sheeran

Ed Sheeran launches into a new artistic era with Play, his eighth studio album. Drawing inspiration from Indian and Persian musical traditions he encountered while touring, the project moves beyond the chapter-closing Mathematics series into fresh sonic territory. Songs like “Camera” and “Sapphire” bring vibrant textures, while the album as a whole reflects Sheeran’s desire to embrace joy, color, and cultural exploration after darker times.

Confessions – Mimi Webb

British pop star Mimi Webb bares it all on her sophomore record Confessions, out today via Epic Records. Featuring lead single “I Met A Boy,” the project captures heartbreak, empowerment, and self-discovery through soaring pop hooks and Webb’s signature powerhouse vocals. Written between Los Angeles and London, it’s her most fearless and revealing collection yet.

Breach – Twenty One Pilots

Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun bring their long-running narrative to a dramatic conclusion with Breach. The album’s opener, “City Walls,” arrives with a nearly 10-minute Jensen Noen-directed video that continues the storyline from Clancy and culminates in an epic battle scene. The record blends cinematic storytelling with raw alt-rock power, cementing Twenty One Pilots as one of the most ambitious acts in modern music.

“Sweet Tea” – Ink

After high-profile collaborations with Beyoncé and Kendrick Lamar, Ink takes center stage with “Sweet Tea,” a genre-blending anthem that fuses country, rock, and hip-hop into something uniquely hers. The track previews her debut EP BIG BUSKIN’, out October 3 via Big Loud Records/Electric Feel Records. Its music video offers an intimate glimpse into Ink’s Atlanta roots, weaving childhood memories with her return to familiar streets.

“Forgiving Me” – Faith Schueler

Rising country-pop artist Faith Schueler delivers one of her most vulnerable songs yet with “Forgiving Me.” Co-written with Madelyn Paquette and Patrick Tarpey, the poignant ballad dives into the journey of self-forgiveness after heartbreak. With soaring vocals and raw honesty, Schueler shows the growth of an artist unafraid to bare her soul.

“Only Bible” – Warren Zeiders

Zeiders follows his sprawling 21-track album Relapse, Lies & Betrayal with a song rooted in faith and conviction. “Only Bible” reflects on how one’s life may be the only example of God’s word another person ever sees. Co-written with Ryan Hurd, Daniel Ross, and Joe Clemmons, the track pairs a powerful message with Zeiders’ gritty vocal style.

When I Write The Song – Jake Worthington

Texas traditionalist Jake Worthington doubles down on country authenticity with his sophomore LP When I Write The Song. Across 14 tracks — featuring collaborations with Miranda Lambert, Marty Stuart, and Mae Estes — Worthington pays tribute to the songwriter’s craft while delivering his most personal record yet.

“Boy Bye” – Abby Christo

Abby Christo brings sass and sparkle with “Boy Bye,” a cheeky anthem that flips heartbreak into self-assured empowerment. The New Zealand-born, Nashville-based singer channels confidence and fun, proving she’s ready for a breakout moment on the global stage.

“How Far Does A Goodbye Go” – Jason Aldean

Jason Aldean unveils the first taste of his next project with “How Far Does A Goodbye Go.” Written by longtime collaborators Kurt Allison, John Edwards, Tully Kennedy, and John Morgan, the reflective ballad grapples with heartbreak’s lingering ache. The release follows Aldean’s historic 30th #1 single at country radio and his candid appearance on the Armchair Expert podcast earlier this month.

“Oh, Canada” – Robyn Ottolini

Platinum-selling artist Robyn Ottolini taps into nostalgia and patriotism on “Oh, Canada,” a moving ballad about the pull of home while chasing dreams abroad. Co-written with Michael August and Jesse Slack, and produced by Jordan Schmidt and Lenny Pey, the single is both a love letter to her homeland and a universal story of longing.

“Still Feels The Same” – Jake Banfield (feat. RaeLynn)

Banfield and RaeLynn join forces for “Still Feels The Same,” a piano-driven duet about grief that time can’t heal. The emotional track serves as a preview of Banfield’s debut album Open Bars, arriving September 26 via EMPIRE, and showcases his ability to balance vulnerability with genre-bending experimentation.

“Whiskey’s Whisperin’” – Brandon Wisham

Wisham follows up his country-rock banger “She’s Good” with “Whiskey’s Whisperin’,” a modern drinking song that fuses R&B flair with Southern grit. The South Carolina artist calls the track his most authentic yet, blending influences from Luke Combs to Justin Bieber into his self-styled “Rhythm & Boots” sound.

“June” – Diana Silvers

Actor and creative multi-hyphenate Diana Silvers makes her music debut with “June,” a raw, folk-inflected single that feels both intimate and deliberate. Written, produced, and self-directed entirely by Silvers, the track marks her arrival as an artist fully in command of her voice and vision.

“What He Does” – Alexandra Kay

CMT’s Next Women of Country honoree Alexandra Kay previews her upcoming sophomore album Second Wind with “What He Does.” Co-written with Andrew DeRoberts and Allison Veltz-Cruz, the stripped-back ballad celebrates the quiet power of selfless love, carried by Kay’s golden-toned vocals and honest storytelling.

“My Meridian” – Muscadine Bloodline

The Alabama duo Muscadine Bloodline returns with “My Meridian,” a tender love song inspired by co-lead Charlie Muncaster’s wife’s hometown of Meridian, Mississippi. Released with an accompanying video, the track arrives during a milestone year for the group, who will soon debut at Red Rocks before joining Lainey Wilson’s Whirlwind World Tour.

“Tied To You” – Lori McKenna feat. Medium Build

GRAMMY-winning songwriter Lori McKenna partners with Medium Build on “Tied To You,” a moving reflection produced by Ben West. What began as a song for one of her children moving abroad blossomed into a universal meditation on love, distance, and connection. The collaboration captures the tender, prayer-like quality that defines McKenna’s best work.

“IN A MOOD” – INJI

NYC dance-pop breakout INJI teams up with Louis the Child for “IN A MOOD,” a glittering yet vulnerable anthem about the highs of nightlife and the lows that follow. Playful brand name-drops and tongue-in-cheek bravado mask the 3 AM ache of wondering if someone’s thinking of you too — making this track both clever and cathartic.

“Hide My Weapons” – Katie Schecter

Katie Schecter teases her forthcoming album Empress with “Hide My Weapons,” a swinging rock track co-written with her husband, Cage the Elephant’s Nick Bockrath. The single is as suspenseful as it is stylish, showing off the duo’s magnetic chemistry and delivering a fresh spin on modern rock ‘n’ roll.
