We have an abundance of sensational releases from a wide range of artists in this week's Fandom Daily New Music Friday. From well-known celebrities, including Taylor Swift, Sia, and Paris Hilton, to amazing independent talent, including Victoria Justice and Hamilton, let's explore the craft of each release.

"THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT" - Taylor Swift

At the stroke of midnight, Taylor Swift released her album. Two hours later, at 2 a.m. Eastern Time, she made available another fifteen songs as part of "The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology". “I’d written so much tortured poetry in the past 2 years and wanted to share it all with you, so here’s the second installment,” Swift wrote in an Instagram caption. “And now the story isn’t mine anymore… it’s all yours.”

 

"REBEL" - Anne Wilson

GRAMMY-nominated artist and songwriter Anne Wilson shares her triumphant country-worship project, "REBEL." The project serves as the CMT Next Women of Country's introduction to the country realm, with features on the project including Lainey Wilson, Chris Tomlin, and Jordan Davis. In a press release, Anne shared, “I have worked so hard on this record. I poured my heart and soul into every single song.

"Younger and Wiser" - Danielle Bradbery

NBC's The Voice alum Danielle Bradbery returns with her first single of 2024, titled "Younger and Wiser." The stunning and straightforward track was written by Emily Weisband, Lydia Vaughan, and Sam Bergeson. With heartfelt notes throughout each lyric, Bradbery sings “Talking to myself, yeah, I was kinder / Never looked down walkin' on a wire / They say with age, you learn so much / You figure it out when you grow up / Looking back now, I think they were liars / I swear I was younger and wiser," sings Bradbery wi

"Damascus" - Elvie Shane

The highly anticipated sophomore album, "Damascus," from country trailblazer Elvie Shane is finally here. Throughout the specifically crafted project listeners can hear a special collaboration with Little Big Town titled "First Place." "RAW" - Victoria Justice 

As we wait for Victoria Justice's incredible comeback, the pop songstress releases an infectious new single titled "RAW." On an Instagram post, Justice shared, "I’m so happy to give you all this piece of me… the chorus came straight from my own journal entry. We all deserve to be loved and seen fully: for our awkward, messy, sad, and sexy."

"Marlinchen In The Snow" - Charm of Finches

The latest album from Charm of Finches, titled "Marlinchen in the Snow", is now available. The album is a perfect blend of folk, country, and pop genres, curated with a unique and brooding sensibility that sets it apart from other albums of its kind. "Victoria" - Luke Borchelt

Sia and Paris Hilton have joined forces to create the inspiring new track "Fame Won't Love You." This latest release from Sia is the fifth single to be unveiled from her forthcoming ninth studio album, Reasonable Woman. The new single marks the very first time that the Australian pop sensation and the former reality TV personality have collaborated on a song. Throughout the chorus, Sia and Hilton's voices blend together seamlessly, conveying a powerful message.

"It Is What It Is" - Rachel Chinouriri
