Nicki Minaj's career is a rollercoaster of fierce verses, unforgettable moments, and an unapologetic journey through the rap scene. Picture this: it all began when Nicki burst onto the scene with her iconic mixtapes, Playtime is Over and Sucka Free, released as Onika Maraj, showcasing her razor-sharp rhymes and chameleon-like flow. Fans were hooked, eagerly awaiting the moment when she'd reign supreme.

But her 2010 debut album, Pink Friday, truly skyrocketed her to stardom. Remember when "Super Bass" became the anthem of summer parties, and everyone tried to spit Nicki's rapid-fire lyrics flawlessly? Good times. The Harajuku Barbie had officially arrived, bringing a blend of Barbie aesthetic and ferocious lyricism that had the world in awe.

The evolution continued with the Roman Reloaded deluxe edition, where Nicki showcased her versatility, blending hip-hop with pop influences effortlessly. The track "Starships" became a global hit, playing on every radio station and dominating dance floors. Fans couldn't get enough of her boundary-pushing style and infectious charisma.

Then came The Pinkprint, a raw and introspective journey that gave us hits like "Anaconda" and "Feeling Myself,” with the deluxe version featuring a massive collaboration with none other than Queen Bey. Fans celebrated the unabashed confidence and unfiltered honesty Nicki brought to her music. Remember the social media frenzy around the "Anaconda" cover art? Memes for days.

Fast forward to Queen, where Nicki reclaimed her throne with tracks like "Chun-Li" and "Barbie Dreams." The rap queen flexed her lyrical skills, shutting down critics and asserting her dominance in a male-dominated industry. Fans rallied behind her, praising the fearless energy she brought to the mic. Let's not forget the fan moments – from the #NickiStoppedMyBag memes to the countless hashtags celebrating her iconic verses. Whether it was her jaw-dropping collaborations, fiery performances, or Twitter clapbacks, Nicki's fans have been a force to be reckoned with, defending their queen with unwavering loyalty.

And then, it happened. Pink Friday 2 is the sequel Barbz have all all been waiting for. The LP’s journey started out with a bang and huge TikTok virality – Nicki had done it again with yet another massively catchy hook. We sang it all summer – “Super Freaky Girl” took over the world. Nicki also took a unique approach to some tracks on Pink Friday, such as her collaboration with gospel icon Tasha Cobbs Leonard on “Blessings.” We hear classic Nicki bars and Nickiisms throughout the whole record, keeping it fun, fresh, and authentic to who Minaj is at her core. The deluxe edition is epic, featuring a staggering 24 tracks.

Fan Of View: We love Nicki’s new LP – but there is nothing like the original Pink Friday record. Nothing will ever top the nostalgia the album brings every single time!

Her icon status skyrocketed even more this year, with the success of “Barbie World” with Ice Spice and Aqua from the Barbie movie soundtrack, making her power across TikTok and social media that much more.

Nicki’s discography isn't just a series of LPs or early mixtapes – it's a love letter to the Barbz. Nicki's evolution feels fully displayed and realized, and the queen of rap may live long.
