Only Murders in the Building Season 3 concluded with a thrilling revelation that shook fans to the core. The masterminds behind Ben Glenroy's demise were unveiled as Death Rattle Dazzle producers Cliff and Donna. The shock factor didn't stop there – the closing scenes exposed the next victim, the beloved Sazz Pataki, portrayed by the incredible Jane Lynch.

As we eagerly anticipate Season 4, our dynamic trio – Mabel (Selena Gomez), Charles (Steve Martin), and Oliver (Martin Short) – are set to embark on a quest to unravel the mystery behind Sazz's tragic death. The burning questions of who targeted Charles and why anyone would want to harm them will be expertly tackled by showrunner John Hoffman and his talented writers.

In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Hoffman teased that Season 4 will delve into the consequences of their creations, leaving fans on the edge of their seats, eagerly awaiting the next installment.

Hulu officially announced the renewal of Only Murders in the Building for Season 4 on October 3, coinciding with the release of the Season 3 finale. While a specific release date remains elusive, the pattern of summer premieres continues, with a potential Summer 2024 launch. However, the lingering actors' strike might pose a slight delay, but once resolved, production will kick off promptly.

Exciting news about the cast is starting to surface, reassuring fans that the core trio – Mabel, Charles, and Oliver – will return without a doubt. Despite the heartbreaking loss of Sazz, Lynch's return is anticipated, likely through flashback sequences. Season 3 newcomers Meryl Streep and Jesse Williams are expected to make a comeback, with Hoffman expressing a deep desire to bring back the entire ensemble, including fan-favorite CoBro, Paul Rudd, if possible.

Confirmed for Season 4, Streep will reprise her role as Loretta Durkin, Oliver's love interest. The tantalizing prospect of familiar faces returning, such as Molly Shannon joining as a high-powered Los Angeles businesswoman, adds to the excitement.

As the trio investigates Sazz's murder in the upcoming season, the show's executive producer, Jess Rosenthal, suggested Sazz as the victim. The final moments of Season 3 left viewers in suspense, with Sazz, in her dying moments, attempting to convey a mysterious message through her own blood on Charles' kitchen floor.

The enigma surrounding Sazz's message and the potential threats to Charles will be at the forefront of Season 4. Hoffman hinted at exploring deeper connections and personalizing the victim to intensify the narrative. The show's beauty lies in its ability to delve into the lives of victims, and Season 4 promises to unravel the intricate layers of Sazz and her world of stunt doubling.

Fan Of View: We love the spins and twists in this show, but tend to lean towards the earlier seasons due to the close-knit dynamic between Mabel, Oliver, and Charles. Season 3 had many more fun characters, but we lacked some character development from the main trio.
