Just ahead of their sold-out Irving Plaza show, Fandom Daily caught up with country trio Restless RoadZach Beeken, Colton Pack, and Garrett Nichols – on the latest leg of their Goin' Out Like That tour.

The must-watch vocalists have been working their way through the country, putting on high-energy performances and solidifying their undeniable star power. Moments before another captivating set – the men were eager to share their touring experience, the meaning behind their emotional new single "Last Thing I Deserve," and a few unforgettable encounters they've shared with fans.

The group has seen firsthand the power of community and the connection that live music can bring.

"It's everything you hope for when you decide to be a musician," Nichols reflected, his face lighting up as he described the feeling of seeing a room full of people singing along to their songs.

For Restless Road, fans are everything, and the stories they shared proved it. Pack spoke warmly about one superfan, Bethany, who has now attended over 30 shows.

"She's amazing," he said. "It's a lot of money to spend and time to commit, and it just means so much to see people show up for us like that."

Beeken added another jaw-dropping example – a fan with a full tattoo sleeve dedicated entirely to Restless Road. "It's just incredible," he said, still in awe.

Pack had a simple pitch for newcomers thinking about catching a show, "It's a lot of fun, and if you don't love harmonies, it's not for you." He said with a laugh, but he wasn't kidding.

The trio's signature harmonies set them apart and bring fans back night after night. Their sound and goosebump-provoking arrangements are displayed in their latest single, "Last Thing I Deserve." The track was born from a deeply personal place. It was inspired by their significant others. The song reflects each member's journey, both musically and personally.

"When we started Restless Road, we were all in different places romantically," Nichols said. "Now, we're either married or in long-term relationships. This song is about the people who've stood by us.

The band penned "Last Thing I Deserve" alongside seasoned writers Trannie Anderson and Lindsay Rimes. The guitar-soaked ballad marks their third release this year. It follows "Goin' Out Like That" and "Work On Me." If fans listen closely, they will understand that the raw, confessional ballad is about a man grappling with his flaws, past mistakes, and deep-rooted insecurities – yet finding himself loved by someone he believes is far too good for him. Through vivid imagery and emotional honesty, he paints himself as the "last one" anyone would expect to deserve a love so pure, calling their relationship an unexpected blessing.

Following our interview, we joined the band at their pre-show party, where the excitement was already building. We mingled with drinks in hand, swapping stories about past shows and favorite tracks. And then, it was time.

When Restless Road hit the stage, the room lit up. From fan favorites like "Growing Old With You" and "Bar Friends" to fresh unreleased songs, the setlist perfectly blended nostalgia and new energy. One of the night's most special moments came with the fan-voted performance – a tradition the band has incorporated on this tour.

Fans can head to restlessroad.com/vote to vote for a song to be added to the setlist, making each show unique and giving fans a true voice in the experience.

Whether you've been riding with Restless Road since day one or just hit play for the first time, know that their fanbase is as tight-knit as they come. Rooted in rich harmonies, even richer hearts, and a rare authenticity, they've built a safe community.  And after a night like that in New York City, there's no doubt they deserve every bit of the love they're getting and so much more.
