Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have welcomed their third child, a daughter named Rocki Irish Mayers, born on September 13, 2025. 

The couple, who are already parents to sons RZA and Riot, announced the news on Instagram early Thursday morning, September 25. The carousel features the hitmaker cradling the newborn in a pink blanket. 

"Rocki Irish Mayers Sept 13 2025 🎀," wrote the award-winning artist alongside the snapshots.

According to Elle, the baby's name continues the couple's tradition of using names that start with the letter "R." 

Fans have flooded social media with congratulatory messages, expressing their joy over the couple's growing family. Many have praised the unique name. 

"She finally got her baby girl," wrote a follower. "The queen & her lil' princess," said the official Fenty Beauty account. "Congratulations and love to the whole family❤️❤️❤️❤️," added Natalie Portman. 

In a recent interview with Elle, A$AP Rocky hinted at the possibility of a baby girl. He explained that they have been crossing their fingers for a daughter this time around. Just days before the birth, he explained that they decided not to find out the child's gender. 

"Our first time, we wanted to know the sex of the baby," he told the publication. "The second time, we didn't want to know. Third time, we don't want to know until, you know." 

However, said that he had a funny feeling that this pregnancy for Rihanna was "different." 

"I feel like it's going to be a girl," he guessed at the time. "This pregnancy is so different from the other two. You can tell from the experience. I hope it's a baby girl, man. I need that."

Fans and the media have closely followed the couple's journey to parenthood. They first revealed their relationship in 2020 and have since shared significant milestones. However, it remains unclear whether the two are actually married. 

"How you know I'm not already a husband?" said the rapper, 36. "I'm still not gonna confirm it," he added in the Elle exclusive.

As the mystery around their relationship continues, fans hope that they will set the record straight sooner rather than later. In the meantime, they are supporting the family of five from afar.
