Make your martini's extra dirty Bravoholics, because Summer House is slated to return on Thursday, Feb. 22. In honor of the premiere, Carl Radke caught up with E! News to give an update on his love life and, let's say it's nonexistent.

The last time reality TV junkies last saw Radke, it was Season 7, and he was calling off his engagement with fellow cast member Lindsay Hubbard. The breakup not only caught Bravoholics off guard, but Hubbard previously mentioned that she was even "blindsided."

The news has since unfolded a new chapter in Radke's life, as he told the publication that he's now focusing on his personal growth and emotional healing. Despite the backlash Radke received, he still seems confident in his challenging decision to split from Hubbard.

"I was walking into the summer, we were prepared to get married," he recalled. "I do want to have a family, and I do want to settle down, but who you get married to is one of the most important decisions you ever make. So, I'm going to take some time and heal. I'm going to focus on myself."

Radke and Hubbard began filming together in 2017, when Season 1 of Summer House first premiered. They became fast friends despite having their fair share of heated discussions and shocking hookups. They were in separate relationships in Season 2, Radke even had a situationship with Paige DeSorbo. Hubbard and Radke became intimate in Season 4, which was filmed in 2019. However, it wasn't until 2022 that they made their relationship public. In Season 7, the two moved to the Hamptons and shared a room for the first time on-camera. They also clarified that they got an apartment together in New York City.

On August 27, 2022, Radke popped the question on TV. The picturesque proposal is featured in Episode 13. Their engagement did not last long, as Radke called it quits on September 14, 2023. Since the buzz-worthy split, Radke, 39, has decided to take a deliberate pause from the dating scene. Their rollercoaster-like breakup is expected to air in the forthcoming season of Summer House

"I think that person will come, but I'm not rushing or looking because there's still some emotional attachment," Radke exclusively told the outlet. "Rewatching it on TV and pursuing a new relationship while some of this is still brewing, to me that doesnt feel appropriate to open my heart to something else when I'm just not there yet."

While he nonchalantly hinted at a potential openness to love come summertime, Radke explained that he's now settled into a new space in Brooklyn.

"The day we decided to part ways, I sought advice from her father, leading me to embrace some much-needed personal space," Radke recounted. This move has marked a significant step in embracing his newfound independence. Looking forward, Radke is channeling his energies toward nurturing family ties, strengthening friendships, and advancing his career.

The reality star highlights the importance of self-care during challenging times, including therapy and acupuncture, as key components of his recovery process. "Focusing on my career and passions keeps me grounded and forward-looking," he stated.

As Summer House gears up for its return on Thursday, Feb. 22, at 9 p.m. on Bravo, fans and viewers alike will be keen to follow Radke's journey of self-discovery and resilience, as he navigates through this transformative phase of his life.

Fans are eager to see how Radke's journey unfolds, as it's giving Bravoholics major Scandoval vibes, with the twist of cameras rolling back into action post-filming to capture the fallout. When photos surfaced of Radke leaving their shared NYC apartment, suitcase in hand and followed by a cameraman, fans were left screaming reality TV gold.
