Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s relationship just hit a new level of public and fans are already planning the wedding.

On Thursday night, the NFL star caused an internet meltdown when he posted a rare Instagram carousel of “offseason adventures,” which marked the very first time he featured Swift on his feed. Naturally, Swifties lost it over the sweet photos, especially one grainy image that showed his lock screen – a cute snap of the couple cuddling. But what really sent fans spiraling? Swift appears to be holding up her hand in the photo, and many believe there's a ring involved.

“Is she showing off an engagement ring??” one fan wrote, while others zoomed in, blew up the image, and even pointed out that Kelce is wearing the same black-and-white sweater he rocked during their romantic Lake Como getaway back in May.

However,  let’s pump the brakes: there’s no official confirmation of an engagement and the evidence fans are clinging to isn’t exactly airtight.

The supposed “ring” is barely visible, and the lock screen is more likely just a cute photo the couple loves. Plus, the romantic trip to Italy already had Swifties swooning long before any proposal rumor.

Adding to the speculation was a wedding invite from Chicago Bears player Cole Kmet’s recent nuptials, where a photo shared by the event planner showed an envelope addressed to “Taylor and Travis Kelce.” 

So while Swift and Kelce are clearly going strong, there's no solid proof they’re engaged yet. In the meantime, Swifties will keep decoding every post, every outfit, and every blurry iPhone lock screen. Because when it comes to the hitmaker and this fandom, the theories are half the fun.
