Another season of The Bachelor (March 24) is officially in the books, and fans were treated to a seemingly happy ending. However, there were some major heartbreaks along the way. 

Monday night's dramatic finale saw Grant Ellis,31,  introduce his family to his final two women – Litia Garr and Juliana Pasquarosa – before making his ultimate decision in the Dominican Republic. 

After weeks of speculation (especially following his appearance at Women Tell All), the rumors were put to rest: Ellis did leave the show with a fiancée. But before he could get down on one knee, he had to say a tough goodbye.

The finale took viewers on an emotional rollercoaster as Ellis navigated his last dates with both Litia and Juliana. When it was time for Ellis to meet with Hollywood-based Jeweler Neil Lane, he picked the ring before he made a confident decision on his final rose. 

Litia was the first to arrive at the final rose podium, which, as any Bachelor fan knows, meant she was about to have her heart broken. Litia delivered a heartfelt speech about her desire for a "forever love" with Ellist. But her heart was quickly shattered when he responded with a devastating truth. 

"Litia, I love you very much. I want to give you everything you deserve, but I'm not your person," he said. "My emotional connection is stronger somewhere else." The tension was palpable as Litia absorbed the rejection, her face quickly shifting from hope to disbelief. "You're different than I thought," she told him before turning to walk away.

Grant, clearly rattled, couldn't help but ask, "You feel like I've been misleading?"

"For me, the switch-up is crazy," Litia replied, her tone sharp.

While Litia's departure was gut-wrenching, Juliana's arrival was a moment of pure relief for Ellis. Dressed in a stunning orange and pink rhinestone gown, she was visibly nervous as she approached the podium. But Ellis quickly put her fears to rest, reassuring her that she was his best friend and his future.

Ellis didn't hesitate to reach into his suit jacket, pulled out an emerald-cut Neil Lane ring, and popped the question. Juliana, squealing in excitement, said "yes." The couple later confirmed during After the Final Rose that they plan to move in together in Boston, where Juliana is from.

Bachelor Nation will now watch to see if Ellis and Juliana's relationship can withstand the post-show pressures. Will they be another Bachelor success story? 

While Grant and Juliana celebrated their engagement, Litia got her moment to speak her truth during the live After the Final Rose segment. And she did not hold back. Bachelor Nation rallied behind Litia, as many believe Ellis blindsided her. 

"You said a lot of things to me from the beginning, from our first one-on-one in LA, where you said you wanted to stop the whole show because that's how sure you were and how confident you were in our connection. You said it to my mom," Litia told Grant, her voice steady. "You went out of bounds. In Madrid, you gave me a journal telling me to write all my thoughts and feelings so we could read through it at the end." 

She continued, listing moments that made her feel blindsided: "You told me I was your number one connection, that from the first group date you knew I was your wife. Those aren't things that you say when you're conflicted."

As she spoke, the audience murmured in agreement, clearly siding with her. But Ellis, rather than deny her claims, owned up to his actions.

"I take responsibility for my actions," he said, his voice measured. "I didn't know how conflicted I would be."

Litia wasn't buying it entirely. The moment was tense, and while Grant did his best to handle it gracefully, it was clear that Litia was still struggling.

Bachelor Nation is celebrating Ellis and Juliana's happy engagement as they prepare to move to Boston. However, many fans feel Ellis blindsided Litia, who had every right to be upset.
