Kendall Jenner and Jacob Elordi have quietly spent time together over the past few months, a source told PEOPLE, sparking renewed speculation about a private romance. This does not come as a suprise, as many fans have been tracking their interactions following Coachella and other high‑profile events. 

According to the insider, "They’ve been hanging out and getting to know each other the last couple months," a development that has unfolded largely out of the public eye. Neither Jenner nor Elordi has confirmed the reports.

Elordi attended Jenner’s 2022 birthday celebration and the two were photographed deep in conversation at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party earlier this year, moments that industry onlookers say helped fuel the latest rumor.

Jenner, 30, remains one of Hollywood’s most photographed and private celebs. She split from Bad Bunny in December 2023 after a relationship of less than a year, and previously dated Devin Booker for two years (2020–2022). Other past links include Ben Simmons, Blake Griffin, A$AP Rocky and Harry Styles. Elordi, 28, has been linked in the past to Olivia Jade, Kaia Gerber, Zendaya and Joey King.

Jenner has repeatedly emphasized her desire to keep close relationships out of the spotlight.

"For me, a lot of things are very special and very sacred, like my friends and relationships," she told Vogue Australia in 2019. "I personally think that bringing things into the public makes everything so much messier." 

Reaction online to the Jenner–Elordi reports has been mixed. A substantial portion of Kardashian fandom has expressed skepticism and concern, labeling Elordi a "player" and urging better for Jenner. Many fans voiced sympathy for Olivia Jade, accusing Elordi of stringing her along amid an on‑again, off‑again dynamic that has played out publicly in recent months.

“We want better for Kendall...he’s been a heartbreaker," said a fan on social media. "I feel for Olivia Jade. This has been going on for months," added another. 

Still, a vocal minority has embraced the pairing, drawing playful comparisons to other celebrity friendships and relationships. Some fans likened the potential coupling to the dynamic between sister Kyle Jenner and actor Timothée Chalamet, even imagining future family ties.

"If this happens, imagine Timothée and Jacob as brothers‑in‑law." Meanwhile, many focused on other possibilities, anticipating red‑carpet glamour should the relationship become official, "Think of Kendall’s Oscars looks...iconic."
