Grant Ellis is getting closer to his happily ever after, and Bachelor Nation is completely hooked on the heartthrob and his stunning castmates. Episode 3 of The Bachelor Season 29 dropped last week (Feb. 10), and fans still can’t stop talking about all the jaw-dropping moments.

Missed the drama? Don’t worry — Fandom Daily has you covered and will catch you up before tonight’s episode!

Before we even get to the dates, we have to unpack the truly unhinged dream discussions that opened the episode. Parisa casually announced, "I dreamt that some guy was trying to rip my teeth out," which is more American Horror Story than The Bachelor. (Fun fact: a quick Google search says this symbolizes a loss of control or self-esteem.) Meanwhile, Natalie had a dream that a baby penguin imprinted on her, but people kept trying to take it away. Girl, what?

Finance Bros & Fake Money: The Most Chaotic Group Date Yet

The women who didn’t land one-on-one dates – Natalie, Bailey, Alexe, Alli Jo, Chloie, Serafiena, Dina, Parisa, Rose, Zoe, Litia, and Juliana – put on their power suits for a date with Grant in a bank because nothing screams romance like financial planning

Hannah Berner and KIND Snacks CEO Daniel Lubetzky (yes, really) hosted a game where contestants earned “Grant Bucks” for answering Bachelor-themed finance questions. And let’s just say, some of these women are living in a fantasyland. Rose and Grant both said a wedding ring should cost $20k, while Dina wants three months of his salary plus her own annual income. Alli Jo, proving to be the only reasonable one, simply said, "As long as it fits and he has good taste." Winner winner!

The wildest moment came when Alexe’s answer to “most risqué purchase” was so scandalous, production blurred it out. WHAT DID SHE WRITE? We need answers, ABC!

The Beverly Bombshell: A Date That Never Was

Beverly Ortega, the insurance salesperson from Howard Beach, was supposed to have a romantic one-on-one date with Grant. Instead? She got an emergency appendectomy. Yep, midseason plot twist: Beverly was rushed to the ER with what she thought was food poisoning but turned out to be appendicitis.

"I'm losing organs left and right," she joked, adding that she left the show wondering, what if? Someone get this woman a second chance next season – justice for Beverly!

Prom Night Chaos & Carolina’s Meltdown

Because Grant totally needed an emotional backstory filler, the cocktail party was turned into a prom. Carolina, in full high school mean-girl mode, melted down after Rose allegedly told her Grant was thinking about Rose while dancing with her. Cue Grant doing some Sherlock Holmes work to track down the culprit. "It has to be Rose," he declared with way too much confidence. Confrontation ensued, Rose apologized, but Carolina was not letting this go.

The other women were fed up. "If we get sent home, it's because Carolina hijacked the night!" one muttered. Newsflash, ladies: if you go home, it’s because Grant isn’t that into you.

And the Roses Go To…

After a night full of mess, drama, and a bunch of Golden Bachelorette alums randomly showing up to "mentor," Grant handed out his roses.

Safe for another week: Zoe, Juliana, Alexe, Dina, Natalie, Sarafiena (for the drama), and Rose (also for the drama). The final rose went to Rose – because, well, of course.

Going home: Bailey, Alli Jo, and Chloie.

Fan Of View:

This episode was pure Bachelor chaos at its finest. We had an emergency hospital exit, a prom night meltdown, and a finance-themed group date???. What’s next – an insurance policy challenge? A Shark Tank pitch for love?

The Bachelor airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and streams the next day on Hulu. Let’s see who implodes next week!
