'The Voice' Season 27 ended with jaw-dropping performances, surprise rankings, and a well-earned victory for Adam David.
After weeks of fierce vocals, surprising saves, and one especially humbling lyric flub, The Voice Season 27 has officially crowned its winner and let’s just say, the confetti hit the stage before most of us recovered from that final twist.
Despite fan polls and pre-show buzz pointing to a tight race between Team Bublé’s smooth operator Adam David and Team Adam’s powerhouse Lucia Flores-Wiseman, it was the former who walked away with the trophy, edging out a group of finalists that delivered as much unpredictability as they did talent.
Tuesday night’s (May 20) grand finale was packed with musical performances from past winners, current coaches, surprise guests, and the Top 5 themselves. There were emotional duets, full-circle moments, and one Harry Styles cover that didn’t quite land.
Lucia delivered a haunting, unforgettable duet with Adam Levine on “While My Guitar Gently Weeps,” but even that wasn’t enough to push her into the top three. Jadyn Cree, the teen-pop hopeful who felt like a producers' favorite all season, finished in fifth place after a finale performance that didn’t hit the mark.
As results rolled in, the crowd gasped: Lucia in fourth, Renzo in third, and Jaelen Johnston landing second place after bouncing back in spectacular form from Monday’s rough start. But in the end, it was Adam David, the dark horse from Team Bublé, who quietly and consistently impressed week after week, ultimately taking the crown.
With poise, heart, and vocals that only got stronger under pressure, Adam delivered not just a finale-worthy performance — but a season full of them. He may have flown under the radar early on, but when it mattered most, he showed up, showed out, and proved that steady can still steal the spotlight.
Congrats to Adam David, your Voice Season 27 winner — and a huge win for Michael Bublé, who just might be building the next coaching legacy.
The show didn’t just rely on the finalists to bring the fire — a stacked slate of guest stars made sure the Season 27 finale felt like a full-blown concert event.
Bryce Leatherwood, winner of Season 22, returned to the stage with confidence and clarity, performing “God Made” like a seasoned pro. Chance the Rapper kept things cool and soulful with “Space and Time,” reminding everyone why he remains one of the most original voices in the game.
Joe Jonas brought the energy with “Heart by Heart,” while Sheryl Crow and James Bay teamed up for a heartfelt performance of “You and Me Time.” Even with all that talent, the group rendition of Bastille’s “Pompeii” — featuring the Top 5 and several eliminated contestants — turned into a visual spectacle, thanks to a group of acrobatic backup dancers who nearly stole the spotlight.
Later in the night, Alicia Keys joined Amanda Reid for stunning versions of “The River” and “Empire State of Mind,” delivering a highlight-reel-worthy moment. And, in true legacy fashion, Blake Shelton closed out the performances with “Texas,” following a nostalgic nod to his iconic bromance with Adam Levine — with both hinting at a possible coaching reunion down the line.
