No matter your obsession, chances are there’s something for you at Comic Con. New York Comic Con touched down at the Jacob Javits Center October 9th-12th, and pop culture lovers from every corner of the universe showed up in full force to represent their favorite fandoms.

Here are 10 of our favorite Highlights from New York Comic Con 2025.

1. A Surprise Appearance from Post Malone

When he isn’t performing at sold-out arenas, Post Malone is writing comics. Posty made a surprise appearance on the show floor signing impromptu autographs to support the release of his new graphic novel, ‘Post Malone’s Big Rig.’

2. Celebrating 20 Years of Avatar: The Last Airbender

To celebrate 20 years of Avatar: The Last Airbender, fans were treated to a panel that not only reunited the original voice cast but had them perform a live table reading of popular moments from the series. 

3. George R.R. Martin Knighted a Fan Onstage

Instead of working on The Winds of Winter (we’re still waiting), Game of Thrones creator George R.R. Martin knighted a fan onstage during a panel for the upcoming Game of Thrones spinoff, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.

With an A-list cast of characters, it’s always all-eyes on Marvel at Comic Con. This year the comic and media powerhouse, announced dates and timeframes for several highly anticipated Disney+ series.

5. Glen Powell Opened Up About Landing His Role in The Running Man

It wasn’t all fun and games for Glen Powell after he landed the lead role in The Running Man. At the panel for the movie, Powell explained recalled the final step in the process – impressing Stephen King with his performance in Hit Man. 

6. Photo Ops with Steve from Blue’s Clues

Comic Con is an opportunity for fans to brush shoulders with their favorite stars, and this year one star in particular stood out over the rest. Of course, we’re referring to Steve Burns from Blue’s Clues.

7. Mr. Robot 10th Anniversary Reunion

Rami Malek, Christian Slater, and creator Sam Esmail reunited to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Mr. Robot. Although fans have been clamoring for a spinoff, Esmail clarified that the series was over and it ”ended it in a really great way.”

8. AEW Stars Fight in the Middle of a Panel

In true wrestling fashion, during the AEW x DC panel, pro wrestler Darby Allin barged in unannounced and took some shots at upcoming opponent Jon Moxley right on stage. And did we mention A.J. and Big Justice were there too? The possibilities are endless at Comic Con.

9. Invincible Season 4 Trailer and Premier Date

Robert Kirkman, the visionary writer behind The Walking Dead, updated fans on his other comic baby, Invincible, with a trailer and release date for the upcoming 4th of the wildly popular animated series. Invincible season 4 returns to Amazon Prime in March 2026.
