The Met Gala is an annual favorite for celebrity followers near and far. The glitz, the glamor, the flops…we love it all here at Fandom Daily, and this year did not disappoint.

The theme? “The Garden of Time/"Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion." The looks? An array of styles, some being downright regal. Fandom Daily is highlighting our Fan Of View with our top ten best dressed list.

Here’s a roundup of the standouts:

Zendaya

Queen Z blessed us with with two iconic outfits, but the above was definitely in the “love or hate it” category. Hailing from the 1996 Givenchy Spring/Summer collection, this corseted bodice was giving Wednesday Addams meets Beetlejuice. We applaud Zendaya for her boldness of choice, and while a little zany, choosing the vintage piece was right on theme…and damn can that woman wear a dress. Our Fan Of View: one of the top looks of the evening.

Tyla

From the custom Balmain sand dress to her hourglass clutch, Tyla did not come to play. Every intricate detail was perfect and form-fitting, and it hit the "Garden of Time" theme right on the nose without being overly showy. This goes under our “Righteous Regals” spot. No further questions, Your Honor.

Kim Kardashian

Kardashian made a striking appearance as always, marking her 11th year at the event. She was clad in a custom Maison Margiela ensemble designed by John Galliano. Her outfit featured an armor-esque bustier top adorned with floral motifs imprinted into the bodice, showcasing Galliano's distinctive flair for merging historical elements with avant-garde design. The look was complemented by a silver floral chainmail dress, ingeniously styled to fold over like a skirt, paired with a custom Margiela thong that echoed the details of the bodice. Over this metallic attire, she wore a gray bolero cardigan, adding a touch of subdued elegance to the shimmering ensemble.

Kendall Jenner

Not to be outdone by Zendaya, Ms. Jenner wore three ensembles for the duration of the Gala. Not all of them hit (the white lacey number was giving early ‘00s wedding night), but this gold and black piece by Alexander McQueen gave us the historical fantasy vibe, whilst still somehow making a midriff tease classy. We stan!

Barry Keoghan and Sabrina Carpenter

Appearing officially for the first time as a couple, we would have relished a matching look. That being said, both Ms. Carpenter and Mr. Keoghan dressed as very much themselves…though for us Barry wins the point for being more on theme. His look, provided by Burberry, was based directly off of Count Axel, a character from the short story which leant its title for the gala’s theme (Vogue). Ms. Carpenter graced the carpet with a stunning Cinderella-esque Oscar de la Renta gown.

Sydney Sweeney

Help! Is that Sydney Sweeney or Billie Eillish’s evil twin? We couldn’t help but notice the inside-out similarities of Ms. Sweeney’s look (a Miu Miu tulle gown) to Eilish's iconic tulle look from last year. That being said, the garden elements were delightful, and we enjoyed the cooler color palette and black leather gloves. In our opinion, Ms. Sweeney's look was a success!

Camila Cabello

Cabello's Met Gala 2024 outfit featured a striking metallic gown by Ludovic de Saint Sernin that complemented the evening's theme, "The Garden of Time." Her most talked-about accessory was an ice block clutch with a frozen rose inside, symbolizing the ephemeral nature of time -- which has caused quite an internet stir. This novel accessory gradually melted during the event, aligning with her new Miami-inspired album theme and captivating - and confusing - attendees and onlookers alike.

Iris Law

For the Met Gala 2024, Law's outfit, styled by Donatella Versace, was a remarkable showcase of luxury and modernity, inspired by the elegance and delicacy of butterflies. The ensemble featured bold colors and intricate designs, incorporating elements that mimicked the beautiful patterns and structures of butterfly wings, perfectly blending classic Versace glamour with a thematic twist for the event. This look not only highlighted Iris's striking presence but also emphasized Versace's iconic style.

Sarah Jessica Parker and Andy Cohen

For the Met Gala 2024, Sarah Jessica Parker chose a stunning white, beaded birdcage gown by Roger Quinn. Andy Cohen complemented her in a stylish ensemble by Berluti, adding a modern and elegant touch to their coordinated appearance. This pairing maintained their status as a fashion-forward duo at the event, each highlighting significant historical and contemporary fashion elements through their attire.

Kelsea Ballerini and Chase Stokes

Making her Met debut last evening, Kelsea Ballerini wore a stunning floral gown designed by Michael Kors, while Chase Stokes was dressed in a sleek suit by Kors as well. Kelsea's gown featured elaborate floral embellishments that cascaded down her dress, perfectly capturing the gala's theme of nature and elegance. Chase's choice of a classic black tuxedo from Saint Laurent complemented the sophisticated look, making them a standout couple at the event.
