Addison Rae is no longer just TikTok’s favorite dancer— she’s officially entering her main pop girl era. On June 6, the 24-year-old influencer-turned-singer will drop her long-awaited debut album, Addison.

The rising artist turned to social media earlier today (April 23) to announce the exciting new project.

"Addison. June 6th. 💐💐💐💐 Self-titled debut album!!!!," Rae wrote on Instagram alongside the dreamy album cover. "I love the entirety of this project with all of me. A mirror. A deep desperation and desire to understand myself better. A true collection of my proudest work yet. My dream cover. My dream collaborators. Pre-save now to prepare a sweet home for her. 🩷💞🩵🌼"

From what we know, this 12-track pop collection was co-crafted by Addison, Luka Kloser, and Elvira Anderfjärd — the dream team behind her shimmery singles “Diet Pepsi,” “High Fashion,” “Aquamarine,” and her most recent banger, “Headphones On.” All four tracks are confirmed to appear on the LP, which Rolling Stone says taps into early Madonna vibes, thanks to synths straight from a 1988 Korg M1 keyboard.

“Luka started playing the piano, and then literally, it was like magic,” Addison told Rolling Stone. “I walked in with a binder and a slideshow… I just mood-boarded my vibes. I literally had no music to play him at that point, so it was about trust. Like, ‘Yes, I’m in the clouds, and I enjoy being there. But I’m also serious.’”

And who could forget her most recent and legendary Coachella stunt? During Arca’s set, Rae strutted on stage, turned around, and revealed “June 6th” on the back of her undies.

The internet, of course, had thoughts. Some users said, “It’s giving early 2000s, we will be streaming,” while others threw shade like, “She wanna be Britney so bad.” One user joked, “Naming your album after yourself is giving 2015 Tumblr self-insert fanfic energy lol,” and another declared, “The way everyone is buying this album and listening to it omg.”

Addison’s fans, affectionately called Raecists (yes, we know… unfortunate name, but the love is real), are pushing hard for a Hot 100 debut.

“We need to smash more in order to enter Hot 100,” one fan account posted. “Raecists & Arianators. We stand there for each other and we need ur help to smashh.”

The album comes in multiple collectible versions — from a translucent light blue vinyl to a tangerine Spotify exclusive, and even a signed CD. Whether this is truly her “first and last” LP or just a cheeky misdirect, one thing’s for sure: Addison is about to be the most Y2K-coded, glitter-drenched debut of the year.

So turn your “Headphones On,” press play on “Diet Pepsi,” and get ready to cry-glitter to Addison. June 6 can’t come soon enough. Will you be streaming this project? Let us know your Fan Of View below or by sending us a DM on Instagram @FandomDaily_
