Tensions between country music stars Zach Bryan and Gavin Adcock reached a boiling point at the Born & Raised Festival in Pryor, Oklahoma, over the weekend, September 13. 

The altercation unfolded just before Adcock was set to perform, with Bryan attempting to confront him through a chain-link fence. Video footage shared by Adcock shows Bryan shouting, "Hey, want to fight like a man?" and even attempting to scale a barbed-wire fence before being restrained by security. 

This confrontation marks the latest chapter in a public feud that began in July, when Adcock criticized Bryan for his handling of a 14-year-old fan who had been disappointed after a concert.

Adcock accused Bryan of arrogance and insincerity, suggesting that Bryan's public persona didn't align with his actions, as reported by The Sun. Bryan responded by downplaying the incident and defending his actions, but the tension between the two artists continued to escalate.

In the aftermath of the festival incident, Adcock mocked Bryan on social media, calling him a "little boy" and suggesting Bryan threatened legal action. He also boasted about his own sold-out show, further fueling the rivalry.

"Before my set, I was standing outside. He pulls up in a pickup truck outside the gate and starts giving out threats, so I just decided to stir him up to the point where he jumped over the fence," Adcock said on social media. "He knew where I was all day. He knew my set time. He knew where I'd be standing, and he created this whole 'I'm badass jump over the fence' narrative, just to try to make himself look bigger or tougher, even though he could have just walked on in the gate," Adcock continued. "I didn't take the Zach Bryan bait, and I'll be praying for him to get better because he sure needs it."

Fans have expressed mixed reactions, with some praising Adcock for maintaining his composure and others expressing concern for Bryan's behavior.

"Zach Bryan reminds me of a kid that didn't get his way…," wrote a fan on Instagram. "Zach quits the second security touches him. Typical. He's trying to look hard in front of his gf," added another.
