"My middle name starts with 'C.' I've always joked that stood for competitive," Jacquelyn Kenny told Fandom Daily.
Known for being her authentic self, Jacquelyn Kenny is your typical New York gal.
When she's not working her corporate job, Kenny tests her knowledge. Recently, Kennedy won the FOX game show The Floor, produced and hosted by actor Rob Lowe.
"I've always wanted to go on a game show, first and foremost, because I'm a competitive person," Kennedy exclusively told Fandom Daily.
In 2020, Kenny discovered an ad on Instagram encouraging trivia fans to apply to be a part of a completely different show. Fast-forward to this past summer, when she received an email with a new opportunity that brought her passion for trivia to the forefront.
"I genuinely thought it was spam. I almost didn't read it or just deleted it," says Kenny. "It ended up being the same casting network. They were like "Hey, we remember talking to you, we remember you like trivia, and we're now casting for this new show." Little did she know, this seemingly innocuous email would lead to her triumphant win on The Floor.
The series is a trivia quiz game show that has 81 different contestants face off in quiz duels on a giant LED floor split into a hundred equal squares, each representing a specific thing.
Who began as the show's alternate, she goes to the final and wins the $250,000 grand prize.
"I'm excited to spend it, save it, everything like that," said Kenny with excitement. "I'm currently planning the vacation that I mentioned on the show, which I was going to take my parents on. We're currently in the planning process, so it's pretty exciting!"
Aside from the excitement of being part of this nationally broadcast game show, Kenny also got to fan-girl over host Rob Lowe. Known for his roles in 9-1-1: Lone Star, West Wing, and several other series and movies, Lowe isn't a stranger to the screen.
"I ended up watching the West Wing for the first time through not too far before we started filming. It was a happy coincidence when they said Rob Lowe," uttered Kenny. "I was fangirling hard. When we got to meet him, he was so nice and charming in person. It was also so nerve-wracking standing next to Rob Lowe trying to compete on a game show in front of a live audience."
As the news broke about Kenny winning the series, she returned to her home in New York and began working the corporate job she had just started before being invited to be part of the series. As she's going through life in general, she's adjusting to being recognized nationally – even having fans of her own.

"I actually got recognized last week. I was coming out of Sotheby's," tells Kenny. "I was there for work, and someone just asked me if I was the girl from the game show. Those little moments have been especially really cool."
In terms of her everyday life, Kenny hopes to return to national television in the future for another game show. Which game show would you like to see Kenny on next? Let us know your Fan Of View below.
