His recognition opens doors and allows more people to discover my music, which is a huge opportunity. He’s a big Christian like me, so we’ve had talks on religion, and it's incredible to see him so focused on his craft and still so very dedicated to his faith - in a world where less personal preferences mean more streams - he stands behind his faith in front of the world and that’s inspiring."

I strive to express feelings of my own and reveal every skeleton in a way that many can relate to, crafting lyrics that resonate on a personal level with everyone who is drawn to me- but there’s a thin line between being vague and it becoming so personal that people can’t relate to it. I speak around the subject in a way that makes it more universal."
