In a whirlwind of romance that could rival any Hollywood script, podcast sensation Alex Cooper, beloved by her fervent "Daddy Gang," recently (April 4) tied the knot with producer Matt Kaplan. 

Their journey to the altar began not on a red carpet but rather on a Zoom call in the tumultuous year 2020. Cooper found herself captivated by Matt's presence during business discussions. Little did she know that virtual encounters would lead to a love story for the ages.

Die-hard fans found their mystery love story captivating. Cooper was always iffy about the idea of marriage and more into the whole "life partner" thing. Mr. Sexy Zoom Man popped the question last year with a picturesque proposal at her stunning Los Angeles home.

After Kaplan placed a jaw-dropping 5-carat ring on Cooper's finger, they delved into wedding planning. The two had a beachside wedding in Riviera Maya, Mexico. The intimate destination wedding reflected their personalities and unique love story. They exuded joy and authenticity every moment, from the ceremony's dramatic entrance to the unconventional first shot shared with guests.

"It was everything we wanted it to be," Cooper told Vogue in an exclusive. "It was emotional, heartfelt, and we tailored it to exactly how we always envisioned it."

Alex's wedding wardrobe, curated with the help of stylist Mimi Cuttrell, epitomized elegance and individuality. Each ensemble showcased her style, from a custom Danielle Frankel gown to vintage finds by Donna Karan and Alexander McQueen. 

"At the beginning, when we started to discuss wedding planning, I truly had no idea what I wanted to wear," she recalled. "There were no vision boards I had made from when i was younger, nor did I create one once Matt got down on one knee, and I say yes. I had no idea what direction I was going to go, and I was a bit overwhelmed. So I just started trying things on."

Once her wedding wardrobe was curated, they channeled their energy towards their wedding weekend. Their main goal was to make it feel like a "family vacation." The two ditched a bunch of traditional wedding trends. For instance, Cooper walked herself down the aisle, and they jumped directly into cocktail hour. Instead of a first dance, they started the party with a "first show." The memorable evening wrapped with a massive splash as everyone in attendance, including the bride and groom, dipped in the ocean.

"The vibes were immaculate. There were dance-offs, bottles being passed around, crowd surfing…and once again, I'm not a dancer, but there wasn't a care in the world from anyone that night. Everyone was on cloud nine," Kaplan told the publication. "Matt and I were both so intentional about making the weekend about being present with each other and our friends and family, and that's exactly what we did. There's no detail or moment I won't remember – and I will cherish this celebration of our love forever."
