Last night’s (Oct. 7) episode of Dancing With The Stars (DWTS) was nothing short of a spectacle, as Season 33, Episode 3 took viewers on a thrilling ride during Soul Train Night. 

With no eliminations this week, the energy is ramping up as we gear up for Hair Metal Night on October 8 – where couples will rock the floor to iconic anthems and be judged by none other than KISS legend Gene Simmons. 

In last night’s episode, NBA star Dwight Howard and his partner Daniella Karagach found themselves at the bottom of the leaderboard after a Cha-Cha that didn’t quite hit the mark, thanks to limited practice time.

Meanwhile, Family Matters star Reginald VelJohnson and Emma Slater captivated audiences with their uplifting performances, proving that heart and joy can shine on the dance floor. 

Leading the pack were the dynamic duo Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong, who brought the house down with their hip-hop-infused Cha-Cha to “It’s Tricky” by Run-DMC, scoring an impressive 36 out of 40 points. The judges were all smiles as they praised their strong partnership and electrifying energy. 

Carrie Ann Inaba emphasized their commitment to each other, while Bruno Tonioli couldn’t help but compare Chandler to the talented Zendaya, sparking even more excitement among fans.

Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson also delivered a show-stopping Jive that featured an eye-catching backflip, earning rave reviews from the judges. 

But Bachelorette star Jenn Tran and Sasha Farber left viewers swooning with their sensual Viennese Waltz. Their undeniable chemistry hinted at possible off-screen romance, and the judges rewarded them with solid scores.

As the dust settles from Soul Train Night, all scores will carry over to determine who faces elimination next week. Fans are already buzzing with predictions, and there’s a feeling that VelJohnson and Slater could be in jeopardy. While their sweet partnership has won hearts, Reginald’s position at the bottom of the leaderboard raises concerns. 

On the flip side, Bachelor Nation is hoping for a dramatic showdown between exes Joey and Jenn in the finals. Their history could certainly stir the pot and bring in even more viewers as the competition heats up.
