The ballroom just got a whole lot more glam.

Alix Earle, TikTok sensation, is officially trading her ring light for a spotlight as she joins the Dancing With the Stars Season 34 cast.

The news broke earlier today (May 22) during a live broadcast of Good Morning America. Fans of the show and DWTS pros are losing it in the best way possible. The beloved franchise turned to social media to share Earle's official headshot, and viewers are already weighing in.

"Welcome!!!!! This is going to be insane!" gushed professional dancer Alan Bersten, while a fan echoed the internet's collective excitement, writing, "This is gonna be a hard season 😭😭😭😭 first Rob now Alix I love them both."

Earle, 24, walked onto the GMA stage, beaming with excitement. "This is so surreal," she said. "I used to watch Dancing With the Stars with my grandma when I was little. I was so in love with dance."

Fans have high hopes for the internet star, as she was a former competitive dancer. Earle did not hesitate to display her gratitude for this opportunity, one that she doesn't take lightly. She explained during the interview that she's ready to return to the studio.

"I'm excited to get back in there and get training," she teased. "I would like to say I have some rhythm."

Earle hasn't named her ideal dance partner, saying only that she wants someone who's fun, motivating, and ready to push her to her best. And with her fanbase already fired up, there's no doubt she'll be a major contender.

"I would be grateful to be with anyone," she uttered. They're all so talented. I'm looking for a partner who's gonna be a good time, a good friend, and really push me to be my best."

With her magnetic personality, natural stage presence, and massive online following – Earle is poised to bring a fresh, Gen Z energy to the show. Her casting is also a powerful reminder of how social media stars are changing the game, showing that the road to the Mirrorball Trophy doesn't have to begin on the big screen, it can start on TikTok.

Fans are already rallying behind her, promising to watch and vote each week as she documents the entire experience for her millions of followers. Between Alix and fellow contestant Robert Irwin – whose sister Bindi won Season 21 – this season is already shaping up to be one of the most exciting yet.
