Luke Combs is a force to be reckoned with in the country music genre. The hitmaker known for his powerful pipes and storytelling soul, managed to become one of the most influential singer-songwriters in the entertainment industry. The way Combs intertwines traditional and modern country elements, contributes to his widespread appeal. Combs independently released his first EP, The Way She Rides in 2014. However, his breakthrough moment came in 2017 when he dropped his debut single “Hurricane.” The emotional-driven track instantly received mainstream radio success and graced the top of the Billboard Country Airplay chart. On the heels of his success, Combs released his first studio album, This One’s for You. The 12-song tracklist includes smash hits “When It Rains It Pours” and “One Number Away.” To keep up the positive momentum, Combs pushed out What You See Is What You Get (2019), Growin’ Up (2022), and Gettin’ Old (2023). Combs swept the 2023 GRAMMY Awards, as he entered the star-studded evening with three total nominations. Combs has also received numerous awards and accolades, including various Billboard Music Awards, CMA Awards, ACM Awards, and more. In 2022, Combs was crowned Entertainer of the Year at the 2022 CMA Awards.

Spouses/  Partners: Yes. Luke Combs is married to Nicole Hocking Combs. The two held an intimate wedding at their home in Southern Florida in 2020. Combs and Nicole began dating in 2016 and got engaged in November 2018. 

Children: Two sons. Combs and Nicole welcomed their first child, Tex Lawrence in June of 2022. The happy parents are expecting another boy in September 2023. 

Charitable or philanthropic activities: Luke Combs has a heart of gold. The reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year has participated in numerous initiatives: 

Boot Campaign: Combs joined forces with the Boot Campaign. The nonprofit supports veterans and active-duty military personnel. 

  • Tornado Relief: In 2020, Combs held an organized virtual concert called “A Concert for the Kids.” The show benefited the victims that were affected by the devastating tornadoes that swept through Middle Tennessee. All funds were donated to relief programs that helped suffering communities. 
  • Feeding America: Combs worked alongside Feeding America during the global health crisis. The impactful organization helps food banks nationwide and provides meals to those in need. Combs performed during a virtual concert to help support their mission.
  • Auctions: Combs often donates memorabilia for charity auctions – signed merchandise, concert tickets, meet-and-greet experiences, and more. 
  • Songwriting Donations: Combs has donated a generous portion of his songwriting royalties to charities. Following the success of his eye-opening track “Six Feet Apart” in 2020, Combs made a contribution to the MusiCares COVID–19 Relief Fund.
