However, his breakthrough moment came in 2017 when he dropped his debut single “Hurricane.” The emotional-driven track instantly received mainstream radio success and graced the top of the Billboard Country Airplay chart. On the heels of his success, Combs released his first studio album, This One’s for You. The 12-song tracklist includes smash hits “When It Rains It Pours” and “One Number Away.” To keep up the positive momentum, Combs pushed out What You See Is What You Get (2019), Growin’ Up (2022), and Gettin’ Old (2023). Combs swept the 2023 GRAMMY Awards, as he entered the star-studded evening with three total nominations.
