We have our first look at the Fab Four in Sam Mendes' upcoming series of biopics titled, The Beatles – A Four-Film Cinematic Event, and what better way to honor heartthrobs of yesteryear with four from today?

Paul Mescal as Paul McCartney

Harris Dickinson as John Lennon

Joseph Quinn as George Harrison

Barry Keoghan as Ringo Starr

Overall, casting did a fantastic job...for the most part. We're only getting whispers of George Harrison from Joseph Quinn, and fans online have expressed similar sentiment.

Everyone else looks pretty spot on. What's interesting about each look is that they each seem to be from a different era of the Beatles' ever-changing career. Paul, as Paul in his sweater, tie, and mop-top combo, looks like his movie will focus on The Beatles' early rise and the start of Beatlemania. John's outfit resembles his look during the recording of the White Album. George is dressed as if he just walked across Abbey Road, most likely revolving around the later years of the band. Ringo looks rather psychedelic with contrasting patterns most likely chronicling the band's experimentation era around Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.

When it comes to looks, these movies are off to a decent start. The next step is to see how well these actors adopt the boys' unique scouse accents. Then, of course, the elephant in the room: how will these movies tackle each member's musicality? I guess we'll have to just "Let It Be" for now and hope they know what they're doing.
