"In the works for a while," said Beckham about the proposal. "I had reached out to the restaurant to see what we could do and put us in a special little room for us and us only. We had a great dinner, and then I popped the question," he added.
Leah Kateb & Miguel Harichi: Navigating the Distance
Leah Kateb and Miguel Harichi are doing long-distance, even if it's not always easy. They're keeping the spark alive with daily FaceTime calls, but Leah isn't a fan of surprises. When Miguel tried to plan a special birthday dinner in NYC, it didn't go as smoothly as he'd hoped. They're taking their time, with no rush to say those three little words just yet.
Kateb, now a breakout star with a massive following of over 3 million on Instagram, used her platform to send a powerful message. "At least for me and for people that support me, who love me and everything, I don't want you to say anything to anyone on my behalf," said Kateb. "I love these people very dearly. I don't want people to think I hate anyone sitting here. Even Rob, please spare the man."
Nicole Jacky & Kendall Washington: Trust Issues on Display
Things could be looking more rosy for Nicole Jacky and Kendall Washington. Their relationship has hit a rocky patch, mainly due to trust issues. The tension was palpable at the reunion, especially when it came out that Kendall had lied about an intimate video. Nicole's trust was clearly shaken, and whether they can patch things up is uncertain.
Following the season finale, an intimate video of Kendall was leaked and went viral online. During this time, the reality star "lied" to Nicole. Allegedly, he said that the video was from "years ago." However, she found out that the video was recorded in a hotel room before he joined the show. Although it is unconfirmed who shared the material, many fans believe it was a man.
Many fans turned to social media to rally behind Kendall against homophobic slurs, including his sister Taylor.
"I do not have the capacity to respond to everyone individually, but I appreciate everyone reaching out concerned about Kendall's mental health," she said. "I am too. I really hope y'all [Love Island USA] have serious mental health resources in place for him so he doesn't come back from the high of this experience to seeing he's been unfairly exposed on top of general reality TV backlash. If y'all have a history of suicde from people being on your show I'd really hope you all got a handle on this expeditiously."
The islanders seemed to side with Kendall, leaving Nicole to feel alone in her perspective and betrayed by the cast. When Madix asked about their relationship status, Nicole went silent and left Kendall to answer the difficult question. He is hyper-focused on "communication," which Nicole explained they don't do well.
It is still being determined if the two will continue to work on their relationship.
Aaron Evans & Kaylor Martin: A Breakup for the Books
One of the most dramatic moments of the reunion came from Aaron Evans and Kaylor Martin's messy breakup. Kaylor confronted Aaron about the lies he told about his short romance with Daniela N. Ortiz Rivera in Casa Amor. She made it clear that she's done with Aaron and has no interest in speaking to him again.
"I'm tired of the f***ing excuses; take accountability and be a f***ing man," she told Aaron. "Why do you keep f***ing lying to me? Literally, I cannot believe I wasted my entire f***ing summer on you, Aaron. I don't want anything to do with you; I never want to speak to you again; you're disgusting, and I do not deserve that."
She continued, "Walked into the villa being so confident, and you beat me down, beat me down, beat me down, and I left a different f***ing girl. It's not cool, and it's not fun. Leave me alone! You do not deserve me."
The other girls were quick to cheer her on, applauding her strength and self-respect.
