Paige DeSorbo is setting the record straight and clearing up the false rumors surrounding her breakup with Craig Conover. 

The Summer House star recently took to her Giggly Squad podcast to address (Jan. 7 )a wild allegation that she cheated on Conover with Saturday Night Live star Marcello Hernandez. Spoiler alert: the rumors are entirely false.

While DeSorbo has already dismissed these claims in TikTok comments, she went a step further, sharing the full story with her listeners. She explained that she reached out to Hernandez directly to apologize for the false speculation surrounding their names.

"I was like, 'Hey, umm…just wanna let you know there's, like, a rumor going around that I cheated on my boyfriend with you," she said, reflecting on the text message. "And he was like, 'Fuck yeah!'" 

Despite Marcello's playful reply, DeSorbo didn't find the situation funny. The reality star said she continued to defend herself and the rumors. 

"I was like, 'Marcello, I am so fucking sorry – like this is so embarrassing,'" DeSorbo admitted. She also noted that she felt uncomfortable because Hernandez might have a girlfriend, and the last thing she wanted was for someone else to be hurt by the rumors. In a rare moment of frustration, she revealed that no one close to her had come to her defense amid the rumors, saying, "No one involved was defending me, which I found interesting."

For those who missed it, DeSorbo confirmed her breakup with Conover last week on Giggly Squad, explaining that it wasn't due to any wrongdoing. 

"I love him; I think he loves me. I think we will remain friends. No one did anything. It wasn't a bad thing. I think we both were just being really mature and saying what we want and what we didn't want," she stressed.

Conover has yet to offer much in the way of detail but did post a brief Instagram video after the announcement. Fans are still waiting for his full response to the situation, but his reaction has been relatively low-key.

While the breakup may have left fans heartbroken, DeSorbo's ability to address the rumors and her honesty about the situation has only solidified her status as one of reality TV's most relatable stars. As for Hernandez? Looks like he's rolling with the rumors, showing that even the craziest situations can turn into something to laugh about.
